Ever wonder how the stars might align for the world of hip-hop? As we navigate the cosmic waves of music and culture, let’s dive into the intriguing journey of Alexander Cole, the mastermind behind HotNewHipHop’s editorial helm. Since stepping onto the scene in 2018, he’s transformed from a newbie Sports and Sneakers writer into a key player documenting the pulsating heart of hip-hop. With a journalism degree in tow, he’s been in the thick of exhilarating rivalries—think Kendrick Lamar vs. Drake—while chronicling scandals that make headlines and stir up conversations. As he ventured to the Bahamas for the Big 3’s Championship Game, rubbing elbows with legends like Ice Cube, he didn’t just grab quotes; he captured the essence of hip-hop’s past and present! Join me in uncovering the electrifying narrative of a man who’s not just writing about the stars but interviewing them—both literally and figuratively!

Alexander Cole is the current editor-in-chief of HotNewHipHop. He started at HotNewHipHop back in 2018 where he began as a Sports and Sneakers writer. It was here where he began to hone his craft, putting his journalism degree from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, to good use.

Since that time, he has documented some of the biggest stories in the hip-hop world. From the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef to the disturbing allegations against Diddy, Alex has helped HotNewHipHop navigate large-scale stories as they happen.
