Based on the novel by Mario Puzo, The Godfather is one of the most beloved movies of all time and is the first installment in a trilogy. It chronicles the Corleone family, namely under patriarch Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando). It follows the transformation of his youngest son, Michael (Al Pacino), from a reluctant outsider in this family into a ruthless mafia boss.
