After her daughter, Milania Giudice, posted a video that appeared to show a verbal altercation between her and her sister, Gia Giudice, body camera footage of the entire incident surfaced online.
Teresa Giudice, who has four daughters total, released a lengthy statement after the viral clip, voicing support for Milania and asking people to show her “compassion” during a difficult time in her life.

Teresa shared a lengthy statement to her Instagram Stories on Monday, September 28, breaking her silence on her daughter’s headline-making behavior at Tampa International Airport.
“As a mother, there is nothing more important to me than the health, safety, and well-being of my children,” the “RHONJ” OG said. “The past few months have been incredibly difficult for our family, and I feel it is important to say something while also protecting my daughter during an extremely vulnerable time in her life.”
Continuing, Teresa noted that Milania has been going through a challenging time after losing her best friend, Victoria Zardoya, who died after falling at the Fort Dade ruins in Florida.
“Grief affects everyone differently, and watching your child try to process that kind of loss is something no parent can ever truly prepare for,” Teresa said in her Instagram Stories before adding that her primary focus is on making sure her daughter is “surrounded by love, family, support, and the care she needs.”
Continuing, Teresa, who has also appeared on Bravo’s “Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip,” “House of Villains,” and “Special Forces,” acknowledged that her fans would have questions and concerns about Milania’s ongoing struggles, but said she wanted to shield her child from any extra attention during this difficult time.
“Milania is my daughter before she is anything else. She is a young woman going through an incredibly difficult and deeply personal time, and she deserves the opportunity to heal without every moment of her pain being analyzed publicly,” Teresa, 54, said. “I am asking, from one mother to another, and from one family to all of you, to please show Milania compassion and kindness and allow her the privacy she needs right now.”
Teresa’s statement comes hours after TMZ shared body camera footage from Tampa Airport police officers that showed Milania cursing at her mother and sister, Gia. The body-camera footage matches a clip Milania posted to her Instagram last week before quickly deleting it.
Milania’s rep spoke with the outlet on September 25 and gave a brief update on the reality star, saying she is “deeply loved by her family and friends” and is surrounded by “support … as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life.”
And Teresa wasn’t the only one from her family to speak on Milania’s behalf, according to Page Six.
Teresa’s ex-husband, Joe Giudice, who also appeared on the first several seasons of “RHONJ” before being deported to Italy, issued a similar statement and called his daughter a “good girl” dealing with a tragic loss.
“Losing someone you love is incredibly painful, and grief does not have a timeline,” Joe said. “She has been trying to process that loss while also dealing with the pressures that come with growing up in the public eye.”
He continued, “There have been difficult moments, but those moments do not define who Milania is as a person. I love my daughter, and I will always stand beside her.”
After the loss of Milania’s friend, Victoria, Joe posted a heartwarming tribute on Instagram, calling her “a daughter” who “became part of our family.” Joe then referenced Victoria’s tragic fall before calling her death “heartbreaking.”
“Life is so fragile. In one moment, everything can change. Please don’t take a single day or the people you love for granted,” he continued in his caption. “Victoria, you will be missed more than you’ll ever know. You’ll always have a place in our hearts, and I’ll never forget you.”
Teresa commented, “Forever in our hearts,” while Gia called Victoria her “sweet angel.”
