As a fan, you never want your favorite celebrity to have to call you out on your behavior.

Over the weekend, Taylor Swift and a couple of famous pals were cheering on her husband.

Travis Kelce’s team played (and won) a football game.

An intrusive fan distracted Swift — causing her to drop everything and handle the situation.

She was just trying to enjoy her husband’s game

On Sunday, October 18, Swift watched from a luxury box seat while the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the Los Angeles Chargers.

As many Swifties have learned since this relationship took off over three years ago, football season is lengthy and includes both a pre- and post-season.

This means that Swift spends a lot of time watching her her husband, Travis Kelce, playing.

In her VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium, Swift was not alone.

In addition to securty and more, she had athlete Caitlin Clark and fellow musician Este Haim with her.

Tragically, Swift’s joy of watching her husband run around on the field (his team handily bested the Chargers) was cut short.

Or, at least, rudely interrupted.

An unidentified individual, seemingly a fan despite her behavior, decided to snoop.

She peered inside Swift’s VIP suite.

Security spoke to discourage her — but to no avail.

She had to personally discourage the ‘fan’

As you can see in the TikTok video, the woman pointed her phone directly at Taylor.

It is unclear whether she was filming or photographing her.

Either way, it was invasive — and Swift had had enough.

Swift herself gestured for the woman to stop recording — seemingly encouraging her to focus on the game.

The woman then went scrambling back to her seat.

Fans on social media chimed in to support Swift’s actions.

Obviously, fans and even just the curious can understand the impulse to want to get closer to a beloved celebrity — or even to film the interaction, for social media clout or to prove that it really happened.

But this was crossing a boundary.

Swift set the fan straight. Perhaps a rebuke from Swift drove the message home in the fan’s mind.

Wanting to meet your fave is very different from wanting to be a minor antagonist in the story of their day.
