Taylor Frankie Paul‘s ex-husband is fired up and ready to give this one more shot!
The reality star’s former partner seems very determined to keep her at bay for the sake of their children in light of some shrouded facts about her character and the recent domestic abuse controversy that rocked her.
Taylor Frankie Paul and Tate Paul parted ways in 2022, six years after they exchanged vows in 2016 and welcomed two children between 2017 and 2020, respectively.

Taylor’s custody dispute with Tate is not a thing of the past yet, as he has now approached the court for a reconsideration shortly after they denied his request for a temporary restraining order.
According to court records, Tate filed a motion asking the judge to revisit the ruling, arguing that the court should take a second look at his request.
In the filing, Tate also submitted other exhibits, such as text messages he says prove Taylor denied him an explanation for why she entered into inpatient treatment and denied him updates on her mental health situation.
He also added messages that will reportedly reveal Taylor admitting she stopped engaging in physical altercations with boyfriend Dakota Mortensen only after he started filming their interactions.
TMZ reported that Tate further attached call logs and text exchanges involving members of Taylor’s immediate family, which he believes support his request for the court to reverse its earlier decision. With the latest filing, Tate is hopeful the newly submitted evidence will persuade the court to reconsider its earlier decision.
A source close to Taylor dismissed Tate’s renewed filing, insisting that the judge’s earlier ruling already reflected the court’s position, pointing out that Taylor had recently spent an entire week caring for the children.
The insider also alleged that Dakota and people close to him are escalating their plot to discredit Taylor ahead of ABC airing her season of “The Bachelorette,” which was canceled amid reports of physical abuse.
According to the source, the efforts from Dakota show that they do not hold a thought for how their conduct may impact the kids. Tate initially filed for the temporary restraining order because he complained that Taylor’s actions were becoming unpredictable and that he was concerned for the safety of their children.
He also referenced Taylor’s highly publicized incident involving barstool throwing in 2023, as part of his bid to bolster his request for a restraining order and his overall custody case.

Taylor became a household name first on TikTok for sharing content about her family life with Taylor as a Mormon wife living in Draper, Utah.
As shared by PEOPLE, when their marriage headed for the rocks in 2022, Taylor explained in a live stream why they had to part ways, with her carrying a greater share of the blame.
In the livestream, Taylor revealed that they had participated in what she described as soft swinging in the marriage. Basically, this arrangement allowed each partner to be physically intimate with other people within mutually agreed boundaries, short of having sex.
Unfortunately, Taylor admitted that she had crossed those boundaries and later developed feelings for another man involved in the arrangement, a revelation that may have contributed to the breakdown of the marriage.
The ABC star later unveiled Dakota as her new boyfriend, adding that he was one of those she swung with during her marriage to Tate, although they have since disputed the story.

On July 1, The Blast stated that Taylor took a bold decision by following her doctor’s recommendation about seeking additional care at a rehabilitation center.
Taylor voluntarily signed up for the program to focus on her health, and while she has since gotten out, she did enjoy the unwavering support of her family on her way in.
The media personality’s decision came after months of legal disputes involving her ex-boyfriend. The former lovebirds got entangled in a domestic assault investigation that stemmed from alleged incidents on February 24 and 25, as confirmed by the Draper Police Department.
Around the same time, a clip from a 2023 altercation made its way to the internet, showing Taylor screaming and throwing chairs at Dakota in the presence of a child.
The reality star had earlier been arrested when the incident happened in 2023, and she entered a guilty plea in abeyance to aggravated assault, allowing the charge to be dismissed if she fulfilled the terms of her plea agreement.
As the investigation unfolded, Taylor and Dakota also went further with seeking legal protection. While Dakota approached the court for a protective order in March, Taylor followed with her own request in early April.
Although prosecutors ultimately declined to pursue new criminal charges against Taylor, a judge granted both mutual protective orders that will remain in effect for three years.
The reality star’s planned season for “The Bachelorette” got caught in the crossfire of her personal controversy, which also led to a pause in filming her other reality show, “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.” Now, the buzzing reports from the network are that it is ready to move forward with airing the latter with a mid-July date in mind.
Editors reportedly continued clipping scenes and putting things in place despite the announcement that the season was canceled. ABC also got busy with conducting audience surveys to assess how viewers currently perceive Taylor, especially after the video with Dakota circulated online.
On her part, Taylor has also shared her healing journey and personal growth with the public, impressing the network executives. Monetarily, Taylor was reportedly fully compensated for the season in six figures, just like her predecessors, because she fulfilled her contractual obligations.
Taylor Frankie Paul’s ex is taking the blast-from-the-past role quite seriously!
