New guidance issued at the King’s direction states that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex remain private citizens and will not resume official royal duties. The reported letter also confirms that their HRH styles remain in abeyance, while any security concerns must continue to be handled by the appropriate police authorities.
According to the Daily Mail, the guidance was distributed to “senior stakeholders” in the government, military and organizations that represent the Royal Family across the country.
