On Wednesday, Kelly Rowland sparked curiosity at the prospect of a musical comeback during the Airbnb Gala in Hollywood.

When asked if fans can gear up to see Destiny’s Child after more than three decades, Rowland confessed to People Magazine, “That’s none of my business. That’s his performance. That’s none of my business.”

The American singer is close friends with the rapper through her friendship with his wife, Beyoncé, who was a former colleague and bandmate on Destiny’s Child.

Together, the Grammy-winning group released 4 studio albums, one Christmas LP and several compilation projects between 1990 and 2006. Some of their  biggest hits include “Say My Name,” “Independent Women Part I,” “Survivor,” “Bootylicious,” “Lose My Breath” and “Bills, Bills, Bills.”

Despite the band splitting up in 2006, Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams have remained very good friends.

The hip-hop mogul’s years of experience performing on large stages seem to have prepared him for this particular appearance.

Shortly after the announcement this week, a photographer approached him while in New York City and asked if he felt pressure to give a top-notch delivery in February.  “I don’t have pressure,” the rapper laughingly said, appearing relaxed and at ease.
