Monday’s cosmic landscape showcases the Capricorn Moon squaring off with Neptune in Aries and then opposing the Sun in Cancer — now that’s what we call a cardinal full moon t-square, folks! With the Moon sign-ruler Saturn fresh from a trine to Leo Venus, the vibes are mixed. You see, whether we’re hitting rock bottom or just a minor bump in the road really hinges on how well we’ve been investing in our dreams—and how stubbornly we chase after what we want. Feeling bummed? Join the club! It appears that something you’ve poured your heart into might be facing an unexpected hurdle or, dare I say, feeling rather hazy as the outcomes swirl in uncertainty. But, hang on! Just because one door closes doesn’t mean others are locked—it’s all about how you frame your feelings.
So here’s the kicker: Mars has swaggered into Gemini this week to make a scene with Uranus. Talk about a call to action! Embrace the new, dabble in the unfamiliar, and shake up your routine. It’s like the universe is insisting we find some distractions to soothe those “meh” moments. And really, who couldn’t use a little variety to spice things up?
But as we navigate this astrological rollercoaster, keep in mind that Mercury is getting ready for its retrograde party, launching late Monday. Communication hiccups are already creeping in—what’s better than a cosmic head-scratcher to spice up your week? Plus, Jupiter’s big move from Cancer to Leo is like hitting the refresh button; finally, we can dust off those party clothes and set our sights on something bright!
As the week unfolds, the cosmic energy takes us through various ups and downs, leading to reflections and perhaps a bit of soul-searching. Grab those snacks, you’re gonna need ’em! So, what did you shelve that might just be ready for a comeback? The universe has a funny way of bringing things back into focus!
Curious how all this celestial navigation plays out for you? There’s plenty to ponder—where does this full moon hit your chart? Are you feeling those pre-retro Mercury vibes already? Dive in, there’s much more to uncover. LEARN MORE.

Let me be very clear: I’m not saying what happens is within your control. I’m saying that how you FEEL about it may be. And it looks like a bummer. It looks like something you’ve worked hard for or wanted for a long time is having a setback. Or the outcome is unclear. But that doesn’t HAVE to feel bad, and it doesn’t mean good things aren’t coming your way. It may mean ONE way is blocked, or doesn’t feel very nice anymore. There are others.
So the good news is that Mars has just entered Gemini to conjoin Uranus all week. Trying new things is the way to go, multiple ways to go. Experiment and try something different. Do things you don’t usually do, or do the things you do another way. Whether any given effort, action, or outing is THE one, variety is the spice of life and it anesthetizes that bummer feeling. Not in a Neptune/druggy way, more of a distraction. And this route takes us down a road that makes sense, and OH MY GOD wouldn’t that be nice?
Mars (as well as Uranus) also moves to trine retro Pluto in Aquarius all week, and Uranus rules Aquarius. Intense action, unexpected events, transformational and volcanic incidents — there’s plenty of air (fuel) for these fiery agents (Mars and Pluto). Bombings, violence, literal fire, these are already happening. In trine, perhaps they may be levied to unite action under compassionate circumstances (Neptune on their midpoint in Aries).
So the part I didn’t mention? Mercury stations retrograde late morning/midday Monday. Communications and connections are already screwy. So be aware and lengthen your fuse. Mercury is in Cancer and this extra component could precipitate a crash-out. Forewarned and all. Maybe we’ll get a chance to readdress the home turf issues that are tangled up in these full moon culminations.
Jupiter leaves Cancer for Leo Monday night, and party time approaches. With Venus already in Leo, maybe it’s time to break out some sunny colors and plot a bigger arc for yourself.
On Tuesday, the Capricorn Moon squares Saturn in Aries. Aftershocks, earth and fire, cardinal. Hold your horses folks. Do what it takes to settle your tummy and reassert your control over yourself. Is it doom, or do you need to clean out your refrigerator?
Wednesday’s Cap Moon opposes retro Mercury then heads into Aquarius to oppose Jupiter, trine Mars-Uranus, sextile Neptune, and conjoin retro Pluto. Okay, that’s a whole lot. Thanks Leo Jupiter and Venus! What did you back-burner that we’ve now looped around and caught up to? Looking with different eyes, a different heart. Maybe something that didn’t shimmer before is ready to go.
Thursday, the Aquarius Moon conjoins Juno, quincunxes the Cancer Sun, then sextiles Saturn. Passion is generally hot, but this is a cool tone. It touches the heart, but the ego involved is parental and brings a sense of responsibility, protectiveness, and nurturance. IF you make the effort (and do the right thing, of course).
On Friday, the Aquarius Moon opposes Leo Venus, and it’s fun if you think it is. Taking things less personally can help that happen. Friday night, the Moon quincunxes retro Mercury then dives into Pisces in the night. In Pisces it conjoins the north node and sextiles Taurus Chiron. If you have a reason to feel sorry for yourself? Of course you do, we all do right now. Well, don’t push it away exactly, instead intentionally surf that feeling and let it show you how to achieve something nicer. A step past hurt feelings is settling on learning to feel better as you go. Not learning HOW to, but learning to. As in, find what feels good and figure it out. Get relational. Connect to something outside AND within.
The full moon takes place Monday night at 8 degrees Capricorn. Where does it hit your chart? Can you feel it coming in? Are you experiencing pre-retro Mercury shenanigans? So many questions, so few pleasing snacks.
