The model’s 27-year-old boy passed away earlier this week due to an apparent overdose and cardiac arrest while in a rehab facility in Los Angeles.
As the tragic situation unfolds, more light has been shed on the bond Clooney shared with the late Presley that went beyond being just his parents’ friend.
Barely a week after Presley’s death, sources say Crawford and her husband have been surrounded by close Hollywood friends to help them through the shattering experience.
“George, Amal [Clooney], and a few of their other close friends have been taking shifts staying with the family so they aren’t alone,” an insider revealed to People Magazine. “George and Amal joined the family in Los Angeles after learning of Presley’s death.”
