With Scorpio season in full swing, it’s all about embracing that intense energy, and what better way to do so than flaunting luxurious, dark footwear that screams sophistication? These shoes are not just sneakers; they embody a vibe that resonates with the mysterious allure of the month’s astrology. Both pairs are designed with a stealthy elegance, transforming lesser-known silhouettes into must-haves, so if dark and enigmatic fashion is on your radar, you won’t want to miss out on this stellar release.
Jordan Brand is closing out its “Black Pack” with two more pairs. The Air Jordan 15 “Black Pack” and the Air Jordan 17 Low “Black Pack” release on November 7th for $245 each.
Both pairs are tied to the same simple idea. Jordan Brand’s Black Pack takes four lesser-known models and gives them a dark, premium makeover, and it began in October with the Air Jordan 14 Low and Air Jordan 16.
The Air Jordan 15 uses black leather across most of the upper, with a snakeskin-style texture on the side panels. In-hand photos of the Air Jordan 15 “Black Pack” showed that this replaces the model’s usual woven look and gives the shoe a more elegant feel.
The Air Jordan 17 Low goes with black and anthracite tones. A faux stingray finish sits around the laces, which adds some texture without changing the clean look.
Both pairs are sold through select NBHD retailers and 232323232323.com, Jordan Brand’s newer online store. They are not expected on SNKRS.
The style codes are IZ2585-001 for the Air Jordan 15 and IZ2638-001 for the Air Jordan 17 Low. Both pairs come in men’s sizing. The first half of the pack sold out at boutiques, so expect strong demand again.
The Air Jordan 15 first arrived in 1999, and its odd shape has always divided fans. Further, Tinker Hatfield drew inspiration from the X-15 aircraft.
The Air Jordan 17 Low is based on the 2002 model, which was one of the most luxury-focused designs in the line. A dark stingray look suits that history very well.
Next year brings even more, including the Infinite Archives pairs in March and a reported “Cosmic Clay” Air Jordan 15.
Both pairs also appear in the guide to every Air Jordan dropping in November. Overall, the Black Pack is a smart way to bring attention to underrated models. Fans who like dark, premium sneakers will have plenty to enjoy.
