“I think a lot of depression and anxiety comes from knowing the truth but pretending that we don’t. It’s a kind of hypocrisy hangover – but the alternative is to be a truth-teller and beam-buster and this often makes you an outcast unless you can find a tribe of fellow beam-busters. I do believe that some people are born to fulfill this role (soothsayer truth-tellers) and I’d be interested on what the astrology might be.”

I love how Curlygirl spells this out.  The price one pays for lying, on any level, is rarely mentioned. Bravo!

As for the astrology of soothsayers / truthtellers, you want to look at Jupiter, primarily, the 9th house, Sagittarius and also Pisces. Note that soothsaying and truth telling are separate things.  Soothsayers look at what will be. Truth tellers state what is. Both are Jupiter-ruled.

The truth is blunt, once the facts are in.  We see the truth (Sagittarius) and yearn for the truth (Pisces).

Sagittarius is visionary. It gazes out the horizon, The future.
Pisces is deals with universal truth It feels it.

As for soothsaying; some use techniques like astrology!  But with or without aids, if you live in truth, outside an illusion, it’s easier to imagine (Pisces) or visualize (Sagittarius) how the story will unfold.

For insight into your own relationship with truth, check Jupiter in your natal chart as well as your 9th house.   As an example, I have Mars and Mercury in Libra (fairness / justice) in the 9th house (court). It’s not surprising I’ve made these bold, confident moves.  I also have Jupiter in Capricorn. Big business.

Recall, that I filed a lawsuit against a corporation when I was 17 years old. I had had nothing but a ten-speed bike at the time. It didn’t stop me, because I’m drawn this way.

I also have progressed Mars in Sagittarius, angular, and progressed, Jupiter in Aquarius in the 9th. Hence, this novel situation.

Where does “truth” fit in your schema?
