Musician, Garland Jeffreys, surfaced in my psyche on Friday.  I found an old story I wrote about him and posted it, unedited, in the forum. Garland Jeffreys.  It’s raw, written back in the day before all the censorship which makes it fun to read.

Discussion turned to the man in that story who was an astute and interesting character.  He was(is) a Scorpio with a stellium in the side.  Aquarius Moon, rising. He’s featured in a number of posts on this site, but a couple come to mind, right away.

This man also just generally bothered by my natural happiness. He used to make (funny) remarks about this, especially when we were out and collided with another smiling person.

To him, it was like, “What’s up with you idiots? Only an idiot would be happy in this misery…”

Of course, that would make me laugh out loud. You see the problem, which proved to be unsolvable, though we tried to resolve it for the better part of three years.

This is also about him. I was floored when he told me about this: The Man You Date *Before* You Meet “The One”. I was floored, yes. But I was not surprised when he turned out to be right. The fact is, he rarely missed.
