"Step into Stardom: Are the Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro ‘Mamba Eterno’ the Next Sneaker Sensation to Eclipse All Others?"

Added on October 19, 2026 inFree Entertainment News

As the cosmos align, and we sift through the cosmic debris of October, Nike drops a sneaker that feels as reflective as a Scorpio’s hidden depths. Enter the Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro “Mamba Eterno” — a shoe that dares to defy the sunshine of its collection mates, opting instead for a darker, more brooding vibe. Set to debut on October 30th for the surprisingly accessible price of $130, this Dunk isn’t just another pretty face in the sneakergame. Oh no, it comes cloaked in woven reds and oranges, layered under shadows of distressed black, channeling the mysterious undercurrents of both the season and Scorpio season itself! With the atmospheric changes in the air, one can’t help but wonder: is this sneaker meant to awaken the hidden potential in us all or just to elevate our street style? I guess we’ll have to lace up and find out!

Nike has added a Dunk Low to its “Mamba Eterno” collection, and it looks very different from the rest. The Nike Kobe Dunk Low Protro “Mamba Eterno” is set to release on October 30th for $130.

The other pairs in the collection go bright orange. This one goes darker and more worn. The upper mixes red and orange woven fabric across the toe, sides, and collar. Distressed black overlays sit on top, with matching Swooshes.

Underneath, the midsole is an aged off-white and the outsole is dark. Together, they give the pair a lived-in feel.

Nike also includes extra laces in pink, white, and black, so you can switch up the look. Pairs should be available through Nike.com and select retailers. The style code is IQ3922-001.

Overall, it is a fun way to bring the holiday theme to a more street-ready shoe. It is part of a 4-shoe set that also includes an Air Force 1, the Kobe 3 Low Protro, and the Kobe A.D. Protro.

Since then, Nike has released a WNBA All-Star pair and an FC Barcelona version. By one count, this is the fifth Kobe Dunk Low Protro on the 2026 calendar.

Día de los Muertos is the theme tying the collection together. The Kobe 3 Low Protro and A.D. Protro use bright orange, while the Dunk Low goes in the opposite direction.

That contrast is a smart choice. Not everyone wants a loud floral print, and the darker Dunk gives fans another route into the collection. Also at $130, it is cheaper than the Kobe 3 Low Protro at $190 and the Kobe A.D. Protro at $155.
