"Stars Align for Drama: Will This Week Leave You Laughing or Crying in Your Cosmic Corner?"

Added on September 28, 2026 inFREE ASTROLOGY

This week’s astrological forecast is shaping up to be as thrilling as a bottom of the ninth, bases loaded kind of game. Mercury wraps up its journey in Libra, hinting at some charming diplomacy, but don’t get too comfortable—soon it dives into Scorpio, where secrets lurk and tensions can run high! With a running square to Mars, freshly strutting through Leo, we might feel that familiar push and pull between thought and action—like trying to catch a baseball while simultaneously juggling flaming torches! Are you ready for a rollercoaster of emotions and possible miscommunications?

As Mercury faces off against retrograde Chiron and Pluto, it’s like being stuck in a traffic jam with frayed tempers and egos flaring—but remember, these cosmic tests can pave the way for valuable lessons. Whether it’s a minor mishap or a major revelation, let’s embrace the intensity and make sure we’re learning from these experiences. It’s not just about surviving the challenges; it’s about thriving in them! So grab your cosmic playbook and get ready to dive into a week of intense energies and transformative opportunities. LEARN MORE.

in your earThis week, Mercury finishes up in Libra then heads into Scorpio to perfect its running square to Mars (now freshly in Leo). In or out of sign, the square reflects ongoing tensions between the senses and action, mind and matter. Complicating this: They both aspect Pluto.

Mars moves to oppose Pluto as Mercury squares it from the sign it rules, a t-square. Mars and Mercury in square can be faulty pacing that can force an error, or signals can be misread to the detriment of the plan. If you’re reading into something, make sure you double check before you act. Pluto ups the stakes. Intensity and power can create an eruptive situation.

Monday and Tuesday while Mercury is still in Libra, Mercury opposes retro Chiron at the very end of Aries. We can effectively add Chiron into the mix for the week for a grand square. That’s a sore spot. Pluto is also retrograde. Something we thought was handled is coming back up, exacerbating a sore spot. It’s a mix of fixed and cardinal signs, so control issues butt up against inflexibility. Watch out for ego-fueled shitty decisions (or misreads) that touch off a row of dominos. It’s also possible to encounter generosity and grace in these situations because someone has been there before and understands. At the very least we can BE that person.

Whatever crops up, do your level best to learn from it. That’s the big thing — intense challenge forces internalization of the lesson (before it externalizes on us in a bad way).

Mercury enters Scorpio early Wednesday, and it perfects its square to Mars early Friday — then its opposition to Pluto Friday afternoon. Scorpio Venus maintains a wide square to Mars for the next few weeks. The payoff is thin. But Mars trines Neptune in Aries through Friday morning, so actively court the positive impact of the power of belief. It’s not positive thinking, it’s positive acting. Act like it’s going to work out. Be a bulldozer with an awesome attitude.

Monday’s Aries Moon opposes Mercury and conjoins Chiron. It crosses into Taurus and squares Mars and Pluto then opposes Venus. Right out of the gates we’re taking the temperature of the week’s challenges. So get out in front of it!

Tuesday, the Taurus Moon squares Jupiter in Leo. Maybe a little too pushy? Maybe we want what we want and don’t want to do all that? It’s okay to take in the bigger picture and get a read on what’s at stake.

Wednesday, Moon finishes in Taurus with a trine to Capricorn Juno. That’s pretty sexy. It’s also a way to feel passionately good about yourself. That’s armor. The Moon then moves to Gemini where it quincunxes Mercury and sextiles Mars. It’s an attitude adjustment that’s actionable. Jump in when the opportunity arises. The Moon then sextiles Neptune, trines Pluto, and conjoins Uranus. Then it trines the Libra Sun. Flexibility is key, so give yourself the chances you need and keep any good attitude you can muster going, like the wave at a sports-ball game. You can do it! You might even like it (you probably will).

On Thursday, the Gemini Moon sextiles retro Saturn in Aries then goes on to sextile Jupiter in Leo. Wednesday sets the mood up well, fleshes out the possibilities under this rough sky. Thursday we’re set to contract then expand, test the boundaries, find out what’s possible. The mood encounters the blessing of getting into step with the right timing.

On Friday, the Gemini Moon sextiles Chiron. Healing can happen on more than one front, and we feel it. It also smoothes the Mercury-Mars tension. Wherever we are in process, we’re actively making it work. When the Moon moves to Cancer, it squares Neptune then trines Mercury and Venus. Intoxicants are not your friend. Find a subtler way to lean into your bliss. A deep conversation goes a long way toward warming up your engines.
