A recent whisper in the universe has surfaced, hinting that Jack Lowden, star of the acclaimed Apple TV series “Slow Horses,” might be the chosen one. As the planets shift and energies intertwine, the question remains: could we soon witness a new chapter in Bond’s saga? Buckle up, astrological enthusiasts! The cosmos may have more in store than just mere speculation. LEARN MORE.

There has been endless speculation over who would fill the shoes of Daniel Craig as Agent 007.

And now a new clue appears to have ‘confirmed’ the identity of the new James Bond, who has only recently stared in a major Apple TV series.

Although Slow Horses star Jack Lowden has been in the frame for some time, the recent announcement about the hit show may point even further to him being the firm choice.

A recent announcement about the next series suggests he is leaving the show and could end up playing the secret British MI6 agent.

In what is thought to be another clue, the actor was then absent from the announcement post confirming the eighth season of Slow Horses.

The renewing of the show comes arrived ahead of the release of season 6, which dropped on Wednesday (16 September). Production for season 7 is already underway.

Instead, an issued press release from Apple only mentioned Gary Oldman’s lead character Jackson Lamb, as well as Diana Taverner, who is played by Kristin Scott Thomas.

It comes after Lowden’s Slow Horses co-star Sir Gary Oldman also spoke out about him potentially becoming the next James Bond.

Appearing on Canada’s The Morning Show, Gary, 68, said: “It’s been rumoured that [Jack Lowden is] on the shortlist.

“We’re going to find out pretty soon, aren’t we? Because they have picked him. They have made their choice, but they have not announced it yet. So my fingers are crossed for Jack.”

Meanwhile, Slow Horses director Adam Randall, who helmed the current season, spoke to the Hollywood Reporter about the prospect of Lowden as Bond, adding: “I don’t know anything beyond what everybody else knows.

“I think you’ve seen from six seasons that he’d be pretty perfect. I love James Bond, and I love all the iterations of James Bond.

“Obviously, Daniel Craig and Sean Connery have sort of the tougher [style], but I also grew up with Roger Moore and that kind of winking to the audience.

“The thing that Jack can do so well is bring comedy and humor into the most serious moments.

“He can play it very straight, he’s an amazing drama actor, he can play action, but he can also always find the funny. It’s that combination that would make him a very good pick.”

Speculation about who will become the next 007 has been a hot topic of conversation ever since Daniel Craig stepped down from the iconic role in 2021, last appearing as the agent in No Time To Die in 2021.

Jack is among other actors whose names have been thrown into the mix, including Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Callum Turner and Theo James – who later dropped out of the race.

James Bond movie, commonly called James Bond 26, has not been officially announced yet. However, industry reports suggest a theatrical release some time in 2028.
