Taylor Sheridan may be leaving Paramount+, but his impressive slate of shows seems poised to continue for years to come.
In one of the least surprising renewals of the year, the streaming platform has renewed The Madison for Season 3.
The news comes a little over a month after the Michelle Pfeiffer-Kurt Russell drama series debuted to strong reviews and astronomical viewing figures.

Paramount+ took a semi-binge approach, dropping three episodes on the premiere date, followed by the final three a week later.
The rollout strategy was a massive departure from previous Taylor Sheridan entries, which all got weekly releases.
The tricky thing with binges is that many of the nuances get lost in the shuffle because people don’t have as much time to dwell on the episodes if the majority are out on day one.
Paramount+ has confirmed that The Madison was Taylor Sheridan’s most-watched debut ever.

Taylor’s shows, like Yellowstone, for example, started middling in the ratings and grew into one of the biggest hits of the last 20 years.
Madison’s strong start out of the gate showcases the series’s mass appeal.
The fact that The Madison Season 2 was filmed before the series debut speaks volumes about what the streaming platform thought of its success.
In a review of The Madison Season 1, TV Fanatic’s Owner and Editor-in-Chief Carissa Pavlica gave the show 4.25 stars out of 5, stating it is an “unexpectedly intimate look at how a single event can upend your life in surprising ways.”

A premiere window for The Madison Season 2 hasn’t been announced yet, but we likely won’t have to wait too long.
With the show making such a splash, it wouldn’t be wise to sit on the episodes for too long.
But hey, it’s great to know that there’s no end in sight.
In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell, the drama series stars Beau Garrett (Firefly Lane), Elle Chapman (A Man Called Otto), Patrick J. Adams (Suits), Amiah Miller (War for the Planet of the Apes), Alaina Pollack (The Surrender), Ben Schnetzer (3 Body Problem), Kevin Zegers (Power), Rebecca Spence (Lady in the Lake), Danielle Vasinova (1923), Matthew Fox (Lost) and Will Arnett (Is This Thing On?).

The Madison is just the latest Paramount+ series to be renewed.
Criminal Minds, Dexter: Resurrection, Landman, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Mobland, and School Spirits are some of the recent renewals.
