Rick Harrison, the face of Pawn Stars, has undergone an emergency operation.
A spokesperson for the Harrison family tells LADbible that the 61-year-old went under the knife for a routine stent procedure, but ended up having to undergo major surgery.
Doctors discovered a serious issue that required bypass surgery, which has been successful and Harrison is now optimistic about his health.
The spokesperson said: “He is resting comfortably and looking forward to a full recovery.”
Harrison has passed on his thanks to the staff at the hospital for all their care and is now on the mend with his family close at hand.
“He is grateful for the doctors and staff at the hospital and that his wife and family can be with him during this time,” the representative added.

Harrison is the co-founder and owner of the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas – where the magic of Pawn Stars goes down – which he opened with his father in 1989.
He isn’t the only member of the family to have health troubles in 2026, though, as son Corey Harrison was in a horror motorbike accident in Tulum, Mexico, in January.
The crash happened just days before his dad got married.
Corey, 43, suffered a litany of ‘devastating injuries’, including 11 fractured ribs, a punctured lung, a concussion and internal bleeding.
Thankfully, Corey made a full recovery, with the latest update coming in March via his friend Aaron Chambers, who set up a GoFundMe to help cover his medical bills.
“Thank you so much to the people who have donated!” Corey said.

“I don’t know if anyone out there has broken ribs but this is awful!! I will keep everyone updated on my condition.”
However, Rick did question why his son required a fund raiser – which initially asked for $100,000 before lowering the target to $18,000 – in his name as he suggested he’d paid the medical bills.
The pawn shop owner told TMZ: “As far as I know, I paid all of Corey’s medical bills long before he put the GoFundMe out.”
Rick then said any dispute between the pair would be sorted out internally. Again speaking to TMZ, he said: “Corey and I will work this out by talking to each other and not the media.
“We appreciate everyone’s support and concern but feel it is in the best interest of all to concentrate on Corey’s recovery at this time.”

Rick also made it clear there wasn’t a ‘repayment schedule in place’ for his son to repay the loan, which came as a surprise to Corey given their ‘personal and business relationship.’
In a further message on March 6, Corey thanked donors and made it clear their money was going to his recovery.
“There has been a lot of misinformation out there about my net worth and about who has been paying my bills,” the message read.
“I want to make it clear that every penny you have given is going toward my recovery. I am deeply indebted to all of my fans for your support, kindness, and generosity during this difficult time.”
