Loughlin never expected a roller coaster ride to become a lesson in how she wanted to live her life. But during a recent trip to Disney World with her “Full House” co-stars, John Stamos refused to let her stay in her comfort zone.

“I’m like, ‘No, no, no. I don’t do roller-coasters,’” she remembered. “And he’s like, ‘No, you do now.’ And he made me get on that roller coaster. I was terrified. And I went on the roller coaster, and I had the best time. It was so exhilarating.”

What happened next made the experience even more meaningful. After getting off the ride, Loughlin wanted to go again, eventually trying four new rides that day and confronting a fear she never imagined she would overcome.

“I think that is symbolic of how I’m embracing life right now. There might be trepidation, but I’m gonna try it. What’s the worst that can happen?” she said. “You don’t like it, or it doesn’t work out? At least you tried it. And you might be pleasantly surprised.”

According to Us, that roller-coaster mindset is now spilling into other parts of Loughlin’s life. With her daughters grown and out of the house, she is embracing a period of change alongside longtime friend Laurie Felt, and the two are determined to make the most of it.

Loughlin told US Magazine, “We’re just trying to be out there and live life, enjoy it all. It’s the year of yes.” That attitude is already translating into plans beyond their careers, including a girls’ trip to London.

After 27 years of marriage, Loughlin acknowledged that this stage of life has also given her permission to think about themselves a little differently, admitting that “it’s [a] time of looking out for ourselves” and “putting yourself first, in ways.”

But putting herself first does not mean stepping away from being a mother. Loughlin knows that role will always remain, even as she permits herself to explore what comes next.

“It’s a great time to do it, especially when you’re on your own, or you’re an empty nester, and your kids are out on their own,” Loughlin added. “We will always be moms, always have to be in the mix and ready to roll up our sleeves and be there.”

That decision to embrace life on her own is also showing up in Loughlin’s professional life. Rather than slowing down after ending her marriage, the actress is filling her schedule with work and looking ahead to what comes next.

Loughlin is already back at work and has several projects keeping her busy. Sources said she is “thrilled to be back working” and is “back at Hallmark working happily,” with filming underway for “When Calls the Heart,” while her comeback movie, “Garage Sale Mystery,” was also set to air on Hallmark.

Her comeback in the industry is another step in a new chapter of her life, which she seems to be rebuilding on her own terms. Loughlin has tried to get back into the game after years out of the public eye because of the college admissions scandal.

As reported by The Blast, she is now working on some new projects, with little time left for the dating life that she allegedly isn’t interested in pursuing at the moment.

After everything that led to the end of her marriage, Loughlin appears determined to move forward without looking for another relationship to fill the space.

The actress has spent more than a year living separately from Giannulli before making the divorce official, and those close to her say she is now focused on building a life that belongs to her.

The Blast reported that Loughlin is not rushing back into the dating scene and has instead been concentrating on her career and her return to public life. She has also recently returned to Instagram after years away, giving her fresh start another very public chapter.

For the actress, this chapter seems less about replacing what she lost and more about discovering what comes next. From facing a roller coaster she once refused to ride to embracing new work, new adventures, and a “year of yes,” she seems ready to see just how far this next chapter can take her.

The College Scandal Changed Lori Loughlin’s Marriage For Good

While Loughlin is now looking ahead in her career, her marriage ended after years of unresolved issues behind the scenes. The college admissions scandal may have happened years ago, but according to insiders, its impact on her relationship with Giannulli never truly disappeared.

The fallout from the scandal created a lasting strain between the couple as they slowly grew apart. An insider claimed, “She didn’t fully blame him, but he spearheaded it,” adding that Loughlin “never fully forgave him and never fully got over it.”

Even after they remained together for years, the damage reportedly continued to shape their relationship. As their daughters grew older and the immediate pressure of the scandal faded, Loughlin and Giannulli reportedly grew increasingly distant.

By the time she filed for divorce, the marriage had already been through years of strain, making her decision to finally close that chapter the clearest sign yet that she was ready to move on.
