In a delightful revelation that feels almost astrological in timing, Kim Kardashian has finally broken her silence on her single journey that spanned years before she sparked a romance with the famous Formula 1 driver, Lewis Hamilton. This introspective moment comes as the cosmos align, suggesting that sometimes, a period of solitude can lead to profound personal growth and clarity. Kardashian admits that after her marriage to Kanye West crumbled in 2021, she truly embraced being single, finding solace not in voids but in self-reflection. While many might be itching to rush into new relationships under today’s heavenly influences, Kim wisely chose to focus on her children and her own well-being instead. “I’m not one to dive in headfirst,” she says, illustrating how taking time for oneself can often be the most fulfilling approach. Kim Kardashian has opened up about being single for ‘years’ before starting her relationship with Lewis Hamilton.
Kardashian sat down for an interview with the Times’ Style Magazine and revealed that when she split from Kanye West in 2021 she ‘was really single for five years’, with the exception of dating comedian Pete Davidson for a few months.
“I really felt no rush. Like, I really didn’t feel empty. I felt like I needed my time,” she said.
Kardashian, 45, said that it was ‘great’ to take a break from dating, saying that this gave her the opportunity to ‘focus on [her] kids and projects that [she] really wanted to be involved with’.
This also gave her time to ‘completely heal’ and ‘just work on’ herself after separating from West, saying: “I wanted to completely heal and just work on myself.
“I wasn’t ready to open up. I really wasn’t even thinking about it. The universe works in your favor when you just allow it to.”
Kardashian has now confirmed that she is in a relationship with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, a romance which she has not formally spoken about, though the pair have been frequently spotted together.

This has included romantic holidays in Paris, as well as family trips to tropical destinations, as well as Kardashian appearing to ‘hard launch’ her relationship with Hamilton with some pictures of a bike ride they took together.
Hamilton previously spoke about how it’s ‘amazing’ to have Kardashian’s support after he came second in the Monaco Grand Prix.
Fans spotted Hamilton, who drives for Ferrari, blowing Kardashian a kiss in the crowd as he went to collect his trophy.
“It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support,” he said after the race, in the first public comments he has made about their relationship.
“It is amazing to have good people around you, good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”
However, Kardashian ended up catching flack over her response to Sky Sports Formula 1 reporter and former F1 driver Martin Brundle, who is highly respected in the F1 world, trying to get a few words from her prior to the event, only to be met with stony silence.

Brundle approached Kardashian to try and get a word, saying to viewers: “What could possibly go wrong?”
He approached her and introduced himself, saying: “Kim, Martin Brundle, Sky F1, how are you today?”
However, Kardashian responded just by staring blankly at him, before awkwardly giving him a small wave.
Unperturbed, Brundle persisted, explaining: “Normally people have a quick chat with us.”
But this was unsuccessful as well, with Kim and Khloe Kardashian being escorted away.
“Kim and Khloe aren’t talking today,” said Brundle, quipping: “Allegedly, they might do later.”
Fans were not impressed with the reaction, wondering how she had not been briefed prior to the event about the possibility that she would be asked to say a few words.
“No one is bigger than the sport!” one fan wrote. “She’s also representing one of the greats. It’s not hard to give a few words of your first impression to the entire F1 world.”
