Did Kendra Wilkinson decide to put an end to the criticism surrounding her body for good?
The former “Girls Next Door” star has long faced scrutiny over her changing appearance, but she has never shied away from defending herself, championing self-love and acceptance in the process.
However, weeks following renewed conversation on her body, the reality TV star turned real estate agent is taking a different route, turning to weight loss injections to support her fitness goals.

In a recent interview, Wilkinson opened up about her frustration with working out consistently and seeing little progress. Although she says she’s content with her life, she’s ready to take steps to address her recent weight gain.
“I hit 40. I’m happy. I’m at peace, but I noticed that my jeans are a little tighter lately, so I don’t want to go out and shop anymore,” she told US Magazine.
Instead of buying new clothes, Wilkinson said she wants her body to go back to how it was before, and has taken action to achieve that. “So I actually signed up for a shot company that will be delivering my shot next week,” she shared. “So I’ll start my journey next week.”
However, she intends to be moderate with the new approach. “I just want to slightly, like, ease my way into it,” Wilkinson said. “I just want to be balanced out. I don’t really want to be skinny, but I just want to be balanced and fit in my jeans again.”
Wilkinson’s decision to start GLP-1 comes almost two weeks after she defended her weight gain and slammed critics for repeatedly pointing it out.
According to The Blast, the TV personality took to Instagram, calling out the comments while insisting she is fine with her appearance.
“I’ve seen many people comment saying I’ve aged ‘poorly,’ and that is ok. I’m ok with aging ‘poorly,’” the 40-year-old wrote in the caption of her selfie. Wilkinson added that despite “a little weight gain and wrinkles,” she is living her best life and would disassociate herself from any negative energy.

While being criticized for her body, Wilkinson has not escaped from talks about her outfits. One such moment that sparked talk was when Wilkinson shared a photo of herself wearing a vintage shirt tucked into black trousers.
The “Kendra on Top” star quickly addressed the comments she received, explaining that her clothes suit her current stage of life and her career.
“I think it represents me and what I’m doing nowadays to a T,” Wilkinson explained, per The Blast. “I’m so happy I’m evolving into myself and growing [into] who I want to be.”
She further admitted that although she has never had the “greatest fashion sense,” it was freeing to dress how she wanted and not have to appear like she’s for TV or a photoshoot.
Wilkinson has also seemingly paid attention to concerns from fans.
When fans brought up her drinking habit, she promised to monitor it, and a few months later, revealed she was on alcohol detox.
As The Blast reported, Wilkinson shared the update via Instagram and urged everyone to respect her decision. “Rise and grind [sun emoji] Please respect my alcohol detox, people. If you’re my friend or follower, I hope you do or [four middle finger emojis].”

As she focuses on healthier choices, the “Kendra Sells Hollywood” star has also made decisions about her romantic life.
According to The Blast, the mom of two revealed last July that she was focusing on her real estate career and not prioritizing building romantic bonds with men.
She was once involved with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner before marrying former NFL player Hank Baskett. The pair split in 2018, and Wilkinson has since spoken candidly about the emotional toll of the breakup, which coincided with the end of her reality show.
Reflecting on that chapter, she revealed she struggled with depression and feelings of uncertainty and had to move into a little home.
