Kim Kardashian is taking her criminal justice reform mission to a new stage… literally.
The reality star and aspiring lawyer has joined the producing team of “The Fear 13,” a Broadway-bound drama centered on a man who was wrongfully convicted and spent more than two decades on death row before finally being exonerated.
Kardashian has spent years advocating for prison reform and clemency cases.
After years of advocating for criminal justice reform and helping cover legal fees for inmates, Kardashian is taking her mission to the Great White Way.
According to Deadline, the SKIMS founder is set to make her Broadway producing debut as part of the team behind “The Fear of 13.” Kardashian confirmed the move in a statement, explaining why now felt like the right time to step into storytelling.
“My commitment to criminal justice reform has always been about more than just policy; it’s about people,” she shared. “I’ve learned that sometimes the most effective way to change minds is through a powerful story.”
Kardashian’s move into Broadway has already earned her high praise from fellow producers, who say her involvement brings added weight to the production’s message.
In a statement, Seaview, Wessex Grove, and Gavin Kalin Productions expressed excitement about collaborating with the reality star.

Kardashian’s criminal justice work also played a role in securing the release of Dawn Jackson, a New Jersey woman who spent three decades behind bars.
Jackson had been imprisoned for the 1999 killing of her step-grandfather, Robert McBride, whom she said had abused her for years. In 2019, she reached out to Kardashian through a series of letters, explaining that her public defender had wrongfully advised her to plead guilty.
Moved by the case, Kardashian enlisted the help of attorneys Erin Haney and Jessica Jackson from REFORM Alliance to revisit Jackson’s situation.
“I could feel her pain through the letters,” she later told PEOPLE after Jackson’s sentence was commuted in 2024 by New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy.
Kardashian previously revealed that her interest in prison reform was sparked in an unexpected and deeply personal way during a visit to Growlersburg Conservation Camp.
The beauty mogul said a conversation with an inmate shifted her perspective. The woman had been incarcerated after helping her boyfriend on a drug run, a story that hit close to home. Reflecting on her own past, Kardashian admitted she had once found herself in a similar situation.
