“Granted, God did that, we can stop now ‘cause I got sick with type 1 diabetes when I was 20. Show ended when I was 18, so I got two years out of it, and then I was in and out of hospitals for four years. That inspired me to get my nursing degree, and then it just, all of that gave me so much perspective, and then working the pandemic, I mean, you know. You do not sweat the small stuff,” she continued.

“The entertainment industry stuff, like I’ll have my actor friends spin out about like, ‘Oh, I didn’t get a call back, or this happened,’ and I’m like, ‘Doesn’t fucking matter. You’re alive. You’re getting to do what you love. You’re alive. You’re healthy, and you don’t know how much time you have. It makes all this stuff so small and so much easier to digest because you’ve digested such bigger, harder things. You know, it’s like exposure therapy,” she added.
