The Ibiza Final Boss will be showing off his moves in a very different way when he makes his boxing return later this month but he’s looking very different to how many might remember him.
It seems to be the natural progression for those who achieve viral fame to find themselves in a boxing ring in recent years, with influencers such as Jake Paul even taking on some of the world’s best, as we saw at the end of last year when he was knocked out by Anthony Joshua.
The Ibiza Final Boss, whose real name is Jack Kay, has certainly made the most of his moment in the limelight, after initially gaining thousands of followers following a video of him dancing in Ibiza with a haircut that Lord Farquaad would have been proud of.
He’s since turned his viral status into a full-time career involving brand deals, club appearances, music releases and even a Channel 4 documentary, before enjoying a winning Misfits Boxing debut against rapper Jordan McCann back in April.
And it seems as if he’s taking his next fight very seriously as he took to Instagram to show off a pretty impressive physique ahead of his fight against Gareth Kelly in Newcastle next month.
He wrote: “Hard work pays off, mentally and physically in the best shape of my life.”
If it wasn’t for his haircut, which he’s seemingly confined himself to for the rest of his life, then he would almost be unrecognisable, although he can at least keep his looking tidy, unlike the Manchester United fan whose wait for five wins in a row might genuinely go on forever.
Speaking to The Sun, Kay said: “Training’s going good, very good. I’m ready to go.
“I’m taking it a lot serious this time. Last time I didn’t really take it serious, now I’m taking it really seriously.
“I know what to do this time. Last time was just a slugfest, but I know what to do this time.”

Although he admitted that his first fight was something of a ‘blur’ it seems clear that he’s ready to make his mark in his second one on 12 September.
Hopefully for him it is a little smoother than his debut however, considering he was bitten by his opponent who clearly wanted to leave his own mark, although without the obvious reputation of Mike Tyson, it was clearly a lot less memorable.
Perhaps his next opponent will be the Wealdstone Raider, or the guy who eats nothing but fish and a rice cake, although that might be a serious test of physicality given his status as a bodybuilder.
