9 PEs in 3 years, each one pushing the alien theme in a different direction. With the Wemby 1 signature shoe now officially confirmed, here’s every PE ranked from worst to best:

Nike leaned fully into the Halloween theme with this GT Hustle 3 colorway, and the result is one of the more visually striking entries in Wemby’s PE catalog. The orange knit upper is covered in ghost-like flame graphics that give the shoe an eerie, almost haunted look.

A glow- in-the-dark Swoosh adds another layer of seasonal detail that works surprisingly well on a performance basketball shoe. The peach midsole and visible Air Zoom unit at the heel round out a build that’s equal parts festive and functional.

It dropped in October 2025, right before Halloween, and immediately stood out as one of the more creative colorways in the GT Hustle 3 lineup.

The Christmas colorway takes a different approach than most holiday releases. Instead of going red and green, Nike built this one around a black upper with a volt and crimson Swoosh that pops against the base.

The fluffy white midsole gives it a snow-covered aesthetic that ties back to the season without being too on the nose. A volt Air Zoom unit at the heel adds one more hit of color underneath.

Gold hits on the tongue and midsole give it a warm, earthy feel that balances out the cooler green tones. The speckled teal midsole is a nice detail that ties the whole look together without overdoing it.

Wembanyama’s “Be Unique Every Day” mantra is split across the tongues of each shoe, adding a personal touch. It dropped April 25th, 2025, and remains one of the cleaner, more understated entries in the lineup.

A metallic silver Swoosh and a purple agate midsole with gold speckle detailing round out a colorway that feels alien without being cartoonish. Wemby’s alien logo makes its GT Hustle 3 debut on the heel tab.

Released in Summer 2025, it served as the bridge between his earlier rookie-era colorways and the more aggressive designs that followed. A strong entry in the lineup that doesn’t get talked about enough.

The “Black Label“ is the most premium shoe in the GT Hustle 3 lineup and one of the best looking shoes in Wemby’s entire catalog. Its all-black knit upper is covered in 3D cosmic wave graphics that add texture and depth without breaking the tonal look.

A white Swoosh outlined in black keeps the branding subtle and refined. “Be Unique” woven tags sit discreetly on the lateral side of each shoe, and Wemby’s alien logo appears on the tongue. It released February 14th, 2025 as part of Nike’s All-Star Weekend collection.

The restraint on this one is what makes it stand out. Everything about it is considered, and the result is one of the cleanest basketball PEs in recent memory.

The “Gold Panther” is the boldest design decision in Wemby’s entire PE catalog, and it lands perfectly. Nike covered the GT Cut 4’s molded upper in a gold leopard print against a black base. It draws on Wembanyama’s cat-like reflexes and elite defensive instincts as the design inspiration.

A small red Swoosh on the midsole is the only hit of color outside the black and gold palette, which keeps the look focused and intentional. The GT Cut 4’s distinctive ribbed side panels add another layer of visual interest underneath the print.

It released in May 2026 and marked a deliberate shift away from the alien and space themes that had defined his earlier PES. One of the most aggressive and distinctive shoes in the lineup.

The “All-Star Warning Label” is the most visually stunning shoe in Wemby’s entire PE catalog. The GT Cut 4’s molded upper is covered in a shimmering iridescent finish that shifts between purple, blue, and gold depending on the light.

The ribbed side panels catch that iridescence in a way that makes the shoe look like it’s moving even when it’s sitting still. A black Swoosh on the midsole is the only grounding element in an otherwise otherworldly design. Wemby’s alien logo appears on the heel to complete the look.

It released February 13th, 2026 as part of Nike’s All-Star Weekend Warning Label collection. As Wemby’s first PE on the GT Cut 4 silhouette, it announced his move to a new model.

This is where it all started. The GT Hustle 2 “Alien” was Wembanyama’s first Nike PE and the shoe that introduced his alien identity to the sneaker world. Its black mesh upper is anchored by iridescent green patent leather overlays that shift in the light, giving it an extraterrestrial feel.

Green speckles across the black midsole add another layer of cosmic detail, and the glow-in-the-dark outsole makes it one of the more technically interesting PES Nike produced that year.

Wemby wore it during All-Star Weekend 2024, and the public release on May 15th, 2024 sold out quickly. Everything that came after it built on the foundation this shoe laid. It started the alien era, and nothing in the lineup has topped it since.
