"From $200K to a Bad Vibe: OnlyFans Star’s Coachella Nightmare Will Make You Think Twice About Festival FOMO!"

Added on April 13, 2026 inFree Music News

Was it the stars or just bad luck that turned Sophie Rain’s lavish Coachella experience into a chaotic epic fail? Despite forking out nearly $200,000 for the festivity of the year, the OnlyFans creator took to social media to express her discontent, sharing tales of overpriced avocado toast and a crowd that felt more suffocating than spirited. As she mingled with headliners like Justin Bieber and Sabrina Carpenter, her astronomical investment didn’t quite translate into the unforgettable experience she had hoped for. With Celestial bodies suggesting caution in indulgent pursuits, could this festival outing have been misaligned in cosmic favor? Buckle up for a story that promises both grit and glamour—yet perhaps more of the former. LEARN MORE.

OnlyFans creator Sophie Rain has shared how Coachella was a terrible experience for her, despite splashing almost $200,000 to attend.

She recently faced criticism for dropping so much cash on the California music festival, which saw the likes of Sabrina Carpenter and Justin Bieber headlining.

Both acts caused controversy with their performances, with Carpenter causing offence for her comments on a fan’s excited cheers, while Bieber was accused of doing YouTube karaoke.

Rain – who isn’t afraid to share her earnings – previously broke down the whopping costs to attend the event, saying in a TikTok video: “Obviously, I am not a brand-friendly influencer, so I had to pay for Coachella all on my own.

“And I’m going to Coachella with the entire Bop House, the assistant and stylist, so I had to get 12 tickets. We got 12 artist passes and a table at the main stage, and it ended up being $67,980 (£50,500).”

She continued: “You guys know me, so obviously I booked a private jet and a round-trip to Coachella Valley cost me $37,498 (£27,900).

“We originally had an Airbnb booked way in advance for $29,000 (£21,500), but they cancelled on us three days before the event, so we had to book another Airbnb and that total was $83,375 (£62,000).

“And as I said prior, I got a stylist and all of the clothes that she got me ended up totalling $5,000 (£3,700). So the total cost for three days at Coachella is $193,845.86 (£144,000). Do you guys think this is worth it?”

The festival is hugely popular with influencers and celebs alike, but OnlyFans star Rain says it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

While on livestream, she opened up about her experience, saying: “The people and the crowd was just not it, at all.”

“People were being really mean,” Rain claimed, while doing her makeup.

“I felt like I was in danger, because I was not comfortable.”

“I’m sorry if I said something mean to someone but I needed to get out of there and people weren’t moving and I was freaking out, about to have a panic attack and I couldn’t breathe,” Rain said, before adding: “People weren’t letting me out, were stepping on me, pushing on me, it was really crazy and not a fun situation at all.”

“But, we did it, first Coachella experience, and I probably will never come back,” she insisted, saying it was ‘pretty insane’.

“It was not my cup of tea,” she finished.

Critics didn’t take too kindly to her post, with one writing: “This girl cracks up me apparently earns close to $100m and has been banging on about the cost of Coachella, she is cheap.”

Another appeared to put the blame on Gen Z, writing: “That’s because you new kids has ruined it I’ve been going for 10yrs plus and last year I made up my mind it would be my last bc it was just too much happening and it lost its flare just like lolapolooza RUINED.”

However, others defended Rain, who reportedly has a net worth of $45 million, while some suggested she hire a bodyguard.

Defending her decision to splash the cash for Coachella, the content creator told People: “All my life I have wanted to go to Coachella. I never had the chance simply because my family was not rich enough and we lived in poverty. So I really wanted to make this moment special and go all out!”

Coachella festivalgoers who paused for a soft drink or some fried chicken in between watching Justin Bieber, Karol G and Sabrina Carpenter ended up paying excruciating prices for it last weekend.

“Prices looking like it’s a nice day to fast,” wrote one music lover. “I’ll just eat thoughts and prayers,” said another.
