If you were getting as bored with Big Brother Season 28 as I have, chances are you’ve been glued to the live feeds since last night.
After the Big Brother Season 28 Week 4 Veto Meeting, Drew’s fate seemed sealed.
He became a massive target because of his inability to work every side of the house and cover his back as he did.
In the aftermath of that Veto Meeting, Mallory clued him in that his alliance was preparing to vote him out.
This is a wild game move for Mallory because his being saved would also seal the fate of either Melody or Lyric, the two other people on the block this week.
Even when Drew started to question his allies about his potential demise, they were dead set on getting him out.
So, I was genuinely stunned when Angela, Dee, and Rick warmed up to flipping the vote to save Drew.
Their line of thinking is that Hayley and Kamu have burned bridges with him this week, so theoretically, Drew could be used to go after them both.
It makes sense, but like, Drew is smart enough to put together the fact that the reality TV icons had to have played a part in getting him on the block in the first place.
They did, and watching Dee try to convince Hayley that saving him would be a good game move was hilarious.
Hayley has this bizarre view of the game where she’s been telling people that she had a terrible first few weeks in the house.
Thankfully, we have the likes of Mallory and Melody to remind her that she’s been a part of the majority alliance since the beginning and her closest allies have not yet hit the block.
And Melody plans to go one step further if she doesn’t beat the Big Brother Blockbuster during Thursday’s eviction.
The nominee has been telling her allies over the last 24 hours that she plans to read Hayley for filth during her eviction plea for votes.
It’s a bold claim, but after watching Melody admit she trashed Hayley last week, I suspect she will follow through with this plan.
Melody is rightfully upset that Hayley is complaining about how hard her time has been in the house, because the reality is that Hayley coasted by for three weeks before getting some power of her own.
She was never in danger, while the other side of the house lost three back-to-back numbers.
Melody has that energy to take Big Brother back to the cutthroat gameplay it was known for several years ago.
But she needs to win some competitions to start shifting the dynamics of the house.
As things stand, Lyric seems to be in a lot of danger, but I don’t see any way the house would allow Melody and Drew to remain there together after this week.
They look like a blossoming showmance, but they’re telling anyone that will listen that they’re not.
This whole plan to save Drew could blow up over the next 24 hours because these houseguests are literally scheming out of boredom at this point.
We need this chaotic energy because it’s been missing from Big Brother so far this season.
