Added on September 19, 2026 inFree Entertainment News

Is the universe aligning stars—or just social media feeds? As we dive into the creative musings of rising star PlaqueBoyMax, we can’t help but wonder if the planets are conspiring to bring some of the biggest names in music into his orbit! His “In The Booth” sessions have gained quite the following, showcasing his ability to unite with fellow artists in a vibrant flurry of creativity. Recently, this ambitious musician teased fans with a behind-the-scenes glimpse into his attempts to collaborate with none other than the Canadian heartthrob, Drake. Oh, imagine the vibes—Drake cozying up in an igloo for a frosty jam session! So, is there some cosmic FOMO at play as Drake opts for tour time over a chill collab? Let’s unpack the stars, the sessions, and the music!

Across the developing content-creating and musical career of PlaqueBoyMax, his collabs with other artists for “In The Booth” sessions are some of his most beloved work. His fans love to see him connect with artists and cook something up in the studio, and his higher profile means more superstar guests could appear one day. PBM recently revealed during a livestream caught by Our Generation Music on Instagram that he tried to set up a session with none other than Drake.

“I had an idea. It’s so funny, ’cause he just kind of ended up doing it in a different way. And not doing it, but, you know,” Max revealed. “But basically, last year, when Drake was first announcing ICEMAN and all that s**t, I hit him up. I was like, ‘I want to do an In The Booth with you and I want to basically have you make music in an igloo.’ The whole freezing s**t. Y’all remember how I was doing the custom booths with Central Cee? [Drake] was like, ‘Yo, that’s a fire idea. But I’m on tour, I got a lot of s**t going on. I don’t know if we could do that, I don’t know for sure.’ I was like, ‘Damn.’ That would’ve been cool, though. Shout out Drake.”

Given Drake’s livestream endeavors, we’re sure he would fit right in on “In The Booth.” We’ll see if this eventually happens one day, or if we get a similar experience with another creator. Either way, PBM will have more sessions to come with other stars.

Drake’s “FOMO”

PlaqueBoyMax’s reflection here points to Drake’s ICEMAN release back when it was in its early stages of public hype. This was amid his tours in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe for $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, and it wasn’t until this year that the new album finally materialized.

Speaking of new Drake content, “FOMO” is here in its entirety as a short film comprised of various vignettes and music videos from HABIBTI and MAID OF HONOUR. Fans enjoyed the new material he teased, and we’ll see if he has more music to share in a hypothetical “In The Booth” down the road. PlaqueBoyMax, and many other fans, presumably have their fingers crossed.
