"Desire vs. Reputation: Will Your Star Sign Help or Hinder Your Week of Scandalous Secrets and Celebrity Drama?"

Added on August 17, 2026 inFREE ASTROLOGY

Monday morning presents a cosmic conundrum as Cancer Mars squares Aries Neptune and Leo Mercury finds harmony with Aries Saturn. Are we being nudged to pause and really think before diving headfirst into our ambitions? It’s almost like the universe is whispering, “Hey, slow your roll!” This week, there’s ample opportunity to lay a solid groundwork before making decisions that could ripple through our lives. Just as Martin Luther King Jr. noted that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice,” perhaps we, too, should be mindful of the long-term effects of our actions. With the imminent Venus-Jupiter sextile, are we not also working toward our own version of justice and fulfillment, albeit on a more personal scale? So, grab your cosmic map, take a deep breath, and prepare for the journey ahead. If you’re curious about how to navigate the stars this week and what it all means, you can LEARN MORE.

Monday morning, Cancer Mars squares Aries Neptune, and Leo Mercury trines Aries Saturn. Think before you act. Put a pin in it, and reach out to get a second opinion or confirm your target. Lay down the foundation of your case before you commit to action.

After both of these perfect, Libra Venus closes its sextile to Jupiter in Leo. If getting it right isn’t a big enough motivator, this looks like a prize for getting in touch with the bigger picture, better milestone part of the story. There’s more to gain when you lock in to an elevated plotline. Martin Luther King Jr. said: “The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

You can get your bag and cash out big, I suppose. And many will. It depends on what you value. The larger the circle you include, the more you act for the benefit of those in your circle, the more in tune with the universe you get. But that is not an easy road, and it’s not a short road. In fact, you may not have a clear path at all. It may feel like you’re going on faith for the “right” road. Depending, I suppose, on who and what you value. It’s time to think on that.

Venus moves into opposition to Saturn, exact early Friday. Then Mercury perfects a trine to Pallas Athena in Aries. We can see that curve in bright relief against clear patterns of the past, and see and note where things are likely to shake down. What prize you seek has consequences. Sometimes our reputation is outside our control, but not always and not now. We have great influence, but it reflects keenly on our values over time. This is the long arc. It’s a commitment.

Monday’s Venus-ruled Libra Moon starts out in sextile to the Leo Sun, and the mood illuminates the challenge of navigating ease. With Venus-Jupiter it would be easy to fuck off and roll around in the sun, but if you do, you’ll miss the chance to lock in insight and a plan. When the Moon moves to Scorpio, it opposes Venus-ruled Taurus Chiron, squares Pluto, and trines Mars. Be ready to drop in, gear down, and power out. Actually, it can be quite exhilarating, so don’t be afraid to show off your prowess. It doesn’t have to be perfect to be effective.

On Tuesday, the Scorpio Moon squares Leo Jupiter then spends the rest of the day squaring Leo Mercury. Things may feel a bit more public, large, or loud than we need right now, but we still have to figure out where we stand in all this. Identifying a target for your support feels deep. A disarming joke and a knowing smirk or smile go a long way toward diffusing tension. It’s tough to be cool when things feel hot, but it takes the pressure off.

Wednesday, the Scorpio Moon squares the Leo Sun then finishes the day with a sextile to Capricorn Juno. If it feels like you’re straddling a divide, lean on the foundation of your passion. What is that? It’s something tried and true.

Thursday’s Sagittarius Moon sextiles Aquarius Pluto, trines Aries Neptune, and opposes Uranus in Gemini. It trines Jupiter into the night. Way to pull out of a dip! Just don’t overcorrect. Optimism offers a lot of protection today, particularly when you’re following up with experimentation and action. Dive in, but with the awareness that anything could happen. It’s a magic carpet ride with unexpected twists. A Sadge mood wears metaphorical seven league boots.

Friday morning, the Sadge Moon sextiles Venus and trines Saturn, as Venus perfects its opposition to Saturn. We’re set to make the most of our well-measured desires and commitments. The mood facilitates the excitement surrounding a milestone in the making. If it doesn’t feel good, that’s information. Slow down and reevaluate how your actions impact your values and vice versa. Speed bumps are for your safety too. What we want matters. Take the time to get it right. If it feels like the party is over? Give yourself more time, but take it seriously.

Nighttime takes the Sagittarius Moon into a grand trine with Leo Mercury and Aries Pallas Athena. All levels of understanding are firing in complementary cycles, jump in where you can. Take notes! It’s very ants-in-the-pantsy.
