He might pack a punch strong enough to put the likes of Anthony Joshua on the canvas, but it turns out that Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois also has quite the tender touch.
The two-time heavyweight world champion, who is taking on Fabio Wardley at the O2 Arena tonight (17 October), revealed that he has a very interesting hobby outside of the boxing ring.
Ahead of the highly anticipated bout in London, he sat down with Piers Morgan alongside his rival earlier this week and discussed his hidden talent.
Dubois, 29, is hoping to hold onto his WBO world heavyweight title while going up against Wardley tonight, which follows on from their dramatic bout in May this year.
The Brit boxer managed to bounce back despite being knocked down twice, allowing him to clinch a win over Wardley, 31, in the 11th round five months ago.

Fans are hoping that similar thrilling scenes will unfold at the O2 Arena later today – especially after watching the pair get into some fighting talk on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
While discussing their upcoming ‘battle’ and joking that Wardley ‘punches like a baby’, Dubois also chatted about what he gets up to when he’s not battling it out in the ring.
Morgan mentioned that he’s quite the artist, to which the sports star responded: “My dad used to trade artwork, I [grew] up around artwork. Different styles, different pictures, many different varieties.
“I paint, I draw. Boxing is an art and I’m an artist.”
In what appeared to be a bid to get one over on Dubois, Wardley then chimed in and announced that the famed boxer also plays the harp.

This came much to the surprise of Morgan, who couldn’t believe that the hard man was such a ‘sensitive soul’.
Dubois gingerly told Morgan: “I’ve dabbled in it, yeah. I have a go. I’m still learning, man. I like it. It all helps – boxing, rhythm, music and everything. It’s all part of it I think.”
He explained that he has his own harp at home which he enjoys plucking – and it appears that much like Morgan, a lot of people had no idea that the boxer played this instrument.
Taking to social media, one person said: “A heavyweight who plays the harp isn’t something you hear every day. Good for Dubois showing a softer side.”
Another wrote: “I love how Dubois tries to mean mug a lot, but then you ask him about the harp and he’s just beaming with joy. We need to appreciate Dubois for the character he is. He’s unique in the history of boxing. We won’t see another like him.”
A third laughed: “The way he says ‘I’ve dabbled in it, yeah’, is the funniest thing I’ve seen this week.”
A fourth added: “The harp thing really is the most charming, interesting thing about DDD. I hope he steers into it. I want to see him playing the harp in his next pre-fight hype video.”
While a fifth chimed in saying: “He would break the internet if he posted a video dabbling in the harp.”
Although it’s the first time a lot of people are hearing about Dubois’ having a knack for the harp, he announced he was having ‘a couple of lessons a week’ to learn how to play while speaking to The Times last year.
He also discussed his creative flair while speaking to Sports Direct in 2025, adding: “Art, music – all these little bits and pieces. I’ve been living that lifestyle, and it works for me.”
