On the heels of a grand 1,000-episode celebration, Julie Chen Moonves revealed a twist that could shake things up like a thorough astrological reading! Just when viewers thought the live feeds were off-limits until after Sunday’s episode, bam—the feeds are back sizzling, and I can hardly contain my excitement. The Big Brother gods gave us a little treat this weekend.
After the 1,000th-episode extravaganza, Julie Chen Moonves introduced an unprecedented twist, while also informing us that live feeds would be unavailable until after Sunday night’s episode.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case because feeds are back, baby! And there’s a lot to catch up on.
Big Brother 28 has seen its share of twists so far, with the introduction of the icons being the most notable, but hearing that there would be no HOH, no veto competition, and no BB blockbuster, yet someone would be going home, was a pretty big reveal.
We won’t know exactly how everything played out until Sunday night’s episode, but we do know who was evicted.
Haley has been evicted.
When the feeds returned to the house, the first thing we saw was a close-up of Haley’s greyed-out face on the memory wall.
So, it is safe to assume she fell victim to the latest twist!
Since Haley was more or less a free agent and wasn’t part of any concrete alliance, not much has changed in the house.
Still, her eviction hurts the Crossover alliance the most, since she likely would have targeted houseguests outside it.
But her game was in major jeopardy after Chuk’s eviction. It would have been a miracle for her to make it to the end.
With Haley gone, that leaves nine players fighting for the crown.
Early feeds did little to reveal who was in power; instead, we mostly saw the houseguests lounging around with no clear indication of what was going on, until some chats clued us in on what we missed.
With the twist and an early eviction, it’s safe to assume they’ll condense everything that plays out over seven days into about five, which isn’t the worst thing.
Big Brother weeks are long, and with everything slightly sped up, it should make the gameplay more interesting.
Not to mention the fact that we are getting down to the end of the game, and the jury likely starts right now with a 7-person jury.
While Dee confirmed in a conversation with Barrett on feeds that Zingbot visited the houseguests, little else could be gleaned during the first few minutes after the feeds returned about who was HOH or what happened next.
However, over time, Drew was confirmed as HOH.
Drew’s nominations remain a mystery, as the houseguests haven’t said much.
Drew, Melody, Dee, Barrett, Yash, Lala, and Taylor were all wearing cowboy gear, so those could be the veto players, but as of this writing, that hasn’t been confirmed.
If the houseguests were told not to spoil, it could mean we don’t get much information until the next episode, which makes you wonder why they turned the feeds on early.
A Drew HOH win is exciting if you’re a fan of the icons because he’s not going to target them, but if you’re not? Well, prepare for another newbie to leave and the icons to continue having all the luck.
