Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ reported prison conditions have raised eyebrows, and Aubrey O’Day has something to say about them. An NBC News report described Diddy’s reportedly privileged conditions in prison, where sources alleged the disgraced rapper gets access to devices and has other inmates cook and clean for him. O’Day, a former Danity Kane member who has previously spoken out about the music mogul, is raising red flags over the seemingly lenient prison environment.

Singer Aubrey O’Day took to X and reacted to an NBC report about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ life behind bars.
The music mogul is currently incarcerated at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, serving a 50-month sentence for two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of his other charges, including RICO and sex trafficking.
At the end of September, NBC News released footage of Diddy in prison, seemingly holding a cellphone. Anonymous inmates also alleged that the rapper lives a privileged lifestyle behind bars.
On X, O’Day replied to NBC reporter Chloe Melas’ post about Diddy, thanking her for the investigation.
“People should understand the difference between rehabilitation and a sh-tty vacation,” O’Day wrote, adding that Diddy’s situation behind bars shows a broken system. “This man will come back a worse criminal,” the singer added.
Diddy has been at Fort Dix for less than a year, and NBC News‘ obtained footage shows the first look at the rapper behind bars.
In the short clip, the 56-year-old rapper is seen with gray beard wearing a white ball cap while using a cell phone, which is strictly considered a contraband.
Four inmates spoke to the news outlet anonymously and painted a picture of Diddy’s prison life. “This is not some normal sh-t you see in jail. This is some rich sh-t. It looks crazy, but again, it’s Diddy,” one of them said.
Several sources say Diddy pays other inmates to handle basic tasks, such as making his bed or cleaning the bathroom before he uses them. The insiders allege that people working on the rapper’s behalf outside pay inmates through their commissary accounts.

Other sources also claim that Diddy uses a cell phone and has a burner Instagram account and a modified tablet that he uses to watch films.
Furthermore, they allege that he purchases antidepressants, known as Remeron, from other inmates.
On weekends, he shares premium liquor with some inmates, with the alcohol reportedly smuggled into prison by guards. “Hell yeah, I drank with him,” one of the anonmyous inmates claimed, while another said, “Pretty much the day he arrived, the party started.”
According to the NBC report, Diddy has seen the Emmy-winning Netflix documentary “Sean Combs: The Reckoning,” executive produced by his longtime rival, 50 Cent.
Like O’Day, 50 Cent reacted to Diddy’s prison conditions, but while O’Day took a more serious view of the situation, the rapper poked fun at his longtime nemesis and even promoted his upcoming movie, “Street Fighter,” wherein he will play Balrog.
50 Cent posted a screenshot of the NBC report, specifically the part where it reads Diddy has seen the documentary, and wrote, “Hahahahaha check out my Emmy award wing doc sean Combs the Reckoning available on Netflix coming to a prison near you. LOL STREET FIGHTER.”

O’Day has been one of Diddy’s most outspoken critics, having previously accused the music mogul of mistreating artists and firing her from Danity Kane in retaliation after refusing his sexual advances. Her latest comments about his prison environment add to her long-running criticism of the rapper.
Meanwhile, Diddy’s prison sentence has moved several times, with his sentence being both extended and reduced due to rule violations and his participation in a drug rehabilitation program, respectively. His initial projected release date was May 8, 2026, but it has since been moved up to January 21, 2028.
