Added on August 4, 2026 inFree Music News

In a cosmic twist of fate worthy of a soap opera—and fitting for a day when Venus is playing tricks with our expectations—A$AP Rocky has taken to Instagram to express his discontent with a graphic designer after a private message was publicly disclosed. The ‘Sundress’ rapper initially reached out to Allan Peters in hopes of a collaboration, but in a turn of events reminiscent of Mercury retrograde miscommunications, the partnership fizzled before it ever ignited. Rocky pulled the plug, labeling Peters’ decision to share their direct message as ‘distasteful.’ Is it just me, or do these moments make you wonder if astrology truly does influence our professional relationships? Because let’s face it, working relationships can feel as fragile as a new moon—just when you think everything is aligned, something comes along to throw you off track. A$AP Rocky has called out a graphic designer who shared a private direct message on Instagram.

The ‘Sundress’ rapper had reached out to Allan Peters, a graphic designer and logo creator to work together but later changed his mind.

But their potential collaboration was over way before it had even started, with Rocky pulling out after Peters shared their private Instagram DM publicly, calling the post ‘distasteful’.

According to posts shared online, the now-deleted Instagram post included a message from Rocky in which he asked him about revisions on brand logo work.

“How much do u charge for brand logo revisions?” the message from the American rapper read. “Assuming you would be willing to do so I would be honoured. Love ur work. God bless.”

However, Peters then posted a screenshot of the private message publicly. Rocky responded directly in the comments, calling the move ‘distasteful’ and pulling the plug.

“Well I guess we won’t be working, best of luck buddy,” he wrote.

The post, captioned ‘I have no words’ was later deleted by Peters, who has one million followers. He has not yet issued any public statements on the exchange which has drawn in mass attention online.

Meanwhile on Threads, writer Alex Washington defended the rapper, writing: “I know somebody somewhere is going to A$AP was wrong, but he’s not.

“Everything isn’t content. If you leaked this what else are you going to leak before the deal is done?”

LADbible has reached out to Allan Peters for comment. A$AP Rocky has also not referenced the brief exchange, which was later removed from social media altogether.

It is unclear what Rocky was hoping to collaborate on, but he also founded AWGE, an American creative agency, online-shop and record label in 2014.

Peters is a famed logo designer

Allan Peters boasts a million followers on Instagram alone and is a specialist in the logo and brand design field. He is the best-selling author of Logos that Last and is listed as a partner at Peters Design Co.

The website states: “Peters Design Company is a creative branding and design agency based in the heart of the Midwest. We offer a distinctive design aesthetic and engaging messaging that is both genuine and thought provoking. Everything we create is crafted with care and excellence in mind.”

In videos posted to the Instagram account, Peters also looks at famous and iconic brand logos, including that of Disney+, Amazon and Nintendo Switch and why they are successful, before amending and modernising them. He also ranks logos, including those for major car brands.
