Millie Bobby Brown Told She’s ‘Living The Dream’

Back in March, the actress posed for a few photos at the beach wearing a colorful blue bikini. She hid her eyes behind sunglasses and brushed her wet hair behind her face in order to reveal dangling hoop earrings. She held up her brand of iced coffee in her hand as she posed, showing off the ocean behind her.

“Sunset swims,” she captioned the snap, tagging her brand in the post. “#Sliving in Paradise,” wrote Paris Hilton. “She’s not in paradise. She is the paradise,” one fan commented. “Living the dream,” her fashion brand commented. “Love your vibe,” another follower wrote. “She looks stunning,” another fan gushed while another follower called her “so pretty!!!”

Millie Feels That She Is Being Bullied Over Her Body

In March, the actress slammed headlines for “dissecting my face, my body,” and “my choices.” At the time, she had been doing a press tour for her movie, “The Electric State.” She called out journalists for “bullying” her over her appearance and accused them of tearing young women down “for clicks.”

In November, she talked about the experience in an interview with British Vogue. She said that she had been “crying every day” while reading the headlines about her appearance and expressed frustration with the way she was being perceived.

Millie Bobby Brown Mocks Comments Over Her Appearance

In the interview, Millie mocked some of the comments over her appearance, saying, “‘Oh my God, what has she done with her face? Why has she gone blonde? She looks 60 years old!'” Although she said that she understood that her appearance would make headlines, she didn’t understand why they always seemed to be so negative.

“I respect journalism. I love reading articles on my favorite people and hearing what they’re up to. I understand that there’s paparazzi, even though it’s invasive, even though it feels like sh-t to me, I know that’s your job,” she told the outlet.

“But don’t, in your headline, slam me at the get-go,” she added. “It is so wrong and it is bullying, especially to young girls who are new to this industry and are already questioning everything about it.”

Millie Wants To ‘Uplift’ and ‘Empower’ Other Young Women

Even though she and her husband Jake Bongiovi have adopted a baby girl back in August, she still recognizes her age. “I am 21. I am going to have fun and play and be myself,” she told the publication. “I can’t silence the 500 million people behind their phones. So what is the realistic route here? I think it’s just uplift and empower young people.”

“Can we fight back harder? Can we instill self-love and confidence into girls to be able to believe in themselves no matter what anyone says?” she asked. “That I can do. That I will do.”
