The Leo Sun is strutting its astrological stuff this week, forming a trine with retro Saturn in Aries until Thursday night, and let me tell you—it’s creating an electrifying atmosphere! We’re not just coasting along the cosmic highway; we’re navigating through fiery responsibilities while considering how we got here. Isn’t it funny how sometimes the path forward is obscured by our own ambitions? It’s as if we’re in a cosmic game of Twister: left foot on expansion, right foot on contraction… and a dash of charm! So, how do we balance ambition with the inevitable bumps along the way? As Venus transitions from Virgo into Libra, we may find ourselves teetering on the edge of wants versus needs—like a see-saw that refuses to cooperate. But don’t fret; there’s power in this delicate dance. Buckle up, because we’re diving deep into the week’s astrological happenings where charm and grace might just save the day. Ready to explore? LEARN MORE.

Taking responsibility can come with putting an end to a course of action or string of goals that led to unforeseen burdens or barriers. Things may seem obvious NOW, or obvious to YOU — but a series of expansions and contractions took time to create an observable condition.
Aries-ruler Mars at the end of Gemini, with Gemini ruler Mercury now quickly moving forward in Cancer has been all over the place in getting here. SO, just take your time and do what you need to do to make it right or figure it out: no bitching, no moaning, just doing. Okay a little bitching and moaning is fine. Sometimes that makes things feel like they’re moving faster.
By the time that effect peaks Thursday, Venus moves from Virgo (Mercury-ruled) to Libra (Venus-ruled). As that happens, Venus quincunxes Chiron in Venus-ruled Taurus. Want to balance, cannot balance. However, you can balance in imbalance, like a see-saw. We want what we want, but it’s not quite grasped yet. It’s delicate and takes both skill and grace.
Venus in air, Chiron in earth. Doable! We use the weight of what we want and aren’t quite getting to make it work. With charm. Or at least with a nod to charm (politeness). That Sun-Saturn-Jupiter fire actually has some charm tho, so a great combo when you work it.
Up to that point, however, we’re still working with Virgo Venus past its exact square to Gemini Mars, neither making new aspects through the end of their Mercury-ruled signs. Mercury is booking through to the end of Cancer, Moon-ruled. At this point, we’ve all gained some experience working these placements: gather your options, have a back-up plan, best we can do is good enough. Sometimes we hit the target, ring the bell, and satisfy the craving.
Monday’s Mars-ruled Aries Moon trines Jupiter and the Sun in Leo then conjoins retro Saturn. Nothing like a strong start! We’re not exactly on solid ground, but the mood lends itself to quick thinking and winding your way around an obstacle.
Tuesday, the Aries Moon squares Cancer Mercury, both cardinal, then sextiles sign-ruler Mars in Gemini. There’s been a lot of focus on wants, but needs are primary. The mood fosters the ability to marshal that back into focus and scout out the opportunity to make things happen. It feels good to figure things out and move your body to accomplish the task. Smarty-pants. You know you can do this. By evening the Moon moves to Taurus and a conjunction to Chiron: Take stock of what you’ve got, what you’ll have later to balance that see-saw.
On Wednesday, the Taurus Moon squares retro Pluto and squares Jupiter, a fixed t-square. Sometimes balking is Saturn-y. This kind of balking is from powerful overwhelm, so utilize the Sun-Saturn trine energy in the self/ego to give yourself space and time to work your magic. Sometimes we take our our time and the magical results are revolutionary (Moon on the Neptune-Uranus midpoint). The Moon goes on to square the Sun. It is what it is, but we don’t have to live with it if we don’t want to. That’s what resolve is for.
Thursday’s Taurus Moon sextiles Cancer Mercury in the direct wake of Venus’ move into Libra to quincunx Chiron. This mood is confidence building, further enhanced by the Sun-Saturn effect. There’s a path to satisfaction in all this. After the Sun perfects its trine to retro Saturn, the Moon moves to Gemini and a tight grand trine in air with Libra Venus and Aquarius Juno — locking down a passionate and satisfying benefit. It’s possible someone gets a comeuppance, but don’t waste the mood goodies on competition or possessiveness. Rise above for best effect.
On Friday, the Gemini Moon trines retro Pluto in Aquarius, sextiles retro Neptune in Aries, conjoins Uranus, and sextiles Leo Jupiter. It’s possible some of us have been breathing through the pain lately, but this looks like breathing into release and relief, freeing and invigorating. It’s a good one to share and folks are likely to feel more chatty about what’s going on with them. Afternoon takes the Moon into sextile with retro Saturn, then sextile to the Leo Sun overnight. It can feel like we’re gaining ground, digging in to get somewhere personally. The wind is back in our sails, perhaps. Or at least it can feel like that’s possible again.
