Model Charlie Forde has crossed another dare off her fundraising list, and this one came with a flight suit.
After reaching $2,500 in donations for The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary, the content creator and emergency veterinarian followed through on her promise to go indoor skydiving. She brought followers along, sharing everything from her initial nerves to the moment she soared through the wind tunnel with an instructor.
After her earlier hot sauce challenge left her in tears, this latest adventure ended with Forde wondering whether she had found a new hobby.
In her Instagram video, Forde explains that she has been setting herself dares tied to donation milestones in her animal charity campaign.
“We have raised two and a half grand for the sanctuary, and so today I am going indoor skydiving,” she says, inviting viewers to come along.
The fundraiser is supporting The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary in Canada, where Forde says she is heading on October 21. Her video then cuts from an introduction filmed at home to her arrival at iFLY. Before long, she has swapped her casual clothes for a red flight suit, helmet, and protective goggles.
She also has some company. Her friend Lily joins her for the experience, something Forde says she particularly appreciates because Lily is nervous about taking part herself.

Seeing the wind tunnel in person gives Forde a moment of hesitation.
“This thing was so much bigger in person than I was expecting,” she admits. “I don’t get nervous at much, but I was a little nervous doing this.”
Those nerves appear to fade once she gets inside. With her instructor guiding her, Forde stretches out her arms and legs and floats above the mesh floor.
“This was me getting in for the first time, and I just, like, could not stop laughing,” she says in the voiceover. “I couldn’t get the smile off my face.”
The footage backs her up. Forde grins as she finds her balance, with the instructor staying close and helping her adjust her position. She says she is surprised by how easy she finds it. During that first flight, she even starts learning how to turn, with her instructor letting go for portions of the session.

Forde also gives a shout-out to her instructor, Zara, calling her “such a great coach.”
After getting comfortable with the basics, she takes on an extra challenge: a higher flight with Zara guiding her through the tunnel.
“I paid extra in order to go up really high with Zara, and I’m not gonna lie, it was a little terrifying,” she admits.
The video shows the pair rising above the floor and sweeping around the chamber, with Zara holding Forde as they move up and down.
Despite that brief burst of fear, Forde comes away enthusiastic.
“It was so exhilarating,” she says, adding that she would potentially like to take up indoor skydiving as a hobby.
By the end, she is also able to laugh at herself. She points followers toward the close-up footage of her face in the rushing air, joking, “I looked ridiculous.”
The indoor skydiving outing follows Forde’s Da Bomb hot sauce challenge, another dare she completed to encourage donations to her animal welfare campaign. Her broader project, the “Round-the-world Vet Volunteer Series,” combines fundraising with plans to volunteer her veterinary skills. On her GoFundMe page, Forde describes herself as an Australian-licensed veterinarian with four years of emergency medicine experience.
This month’s featured organization is The Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary in Aldergrove, British Columbia. The campaign describes a $15,000 feed appeal for the sanctuary, which provides a permanent home for rescued farm animals, including cows, pigs, goats, sheep, turkeys, and chickens. Forde says she covers her own travel and living expenses, with fundraiser donations going to the featured animal organizations. She also promises to share payment receipts or confirmations so supporters can see where the money goes.

With the indoor skydiving dare complete, Forde already has another promise waiting for supporters.
“Next up, five grand,” she announces. “I’m gonna have a sleepover with the goats.”
The video displays the $5,000 target alongside the fundraiser address throughout her adventure, keeping the cause in view even while she is airborne. Fans can contribute and follow her upcoming volunteer work through the Round-the-world Vet Volunteer Series GoFundMe.
