Friday night, the Mercury-ruled Virgo Moon squares Gemini Mars then sextiles retro Mercury in Cancer. Details, plans, and actions sliding sideways are grounds for frustration and irritation; however, the Moon’s sextile and mutual reception with Mercury (each in a sign the other rules) carries an opportunity to shift troubles to your advantage. Or at the very least, extinguish the flap.

The Moon and Mars share retro Mercury in Cancer as their sign ruler. Have you considered trying something else? No I don’t mean listen to the person telling you yoga will cure your psoriasis. I mean, you’ve plenty of past experiences to consider that might work in swapping out a plan of action. OR, you can just choose to feel and think and GO your own way. That might feel pretty darned good. Emotional empowerment often follows when you decide to take charge.

What’s right for you? What’s healthy and makes sense to do? FOR YOU. Consider this: Doing for others first can be irresponsible in many situations.

All weekend, retro Mercury squares Saturn in Aries while Gemini Mars sextiles Saturn through midday Sunday. Blocked communications and botched plans slowly come back to life when you run them through an intellectually nimble Mars. Try a workaround, try something that’s worked in the past. Begin and see where there’s more than one option to proceed as you go. Or maybe things just take more time. In some instances, apply force. Try harder! Try again. With Mercury retro, try turning it in the opposite direction. It’s generally “righty tighty, lefty loosey”, but I’ve seen things installed backward before (and broken them). So pay attention when you expect something specific.

Virgo Venus is also moving into square with Gemini Mars. It may just take more investigation, planning, and effort to get things right. With Mercury retro, maybe it’s a “re” situation: take another look, make another move. Reconsider your position and how you got there.

Saturday night, the Moon finishes up in Virgo with a lovely sextile to the Sun in watery Cancer. This is our first Moon-Sun aspect since the new moon and we’ve a chance to assess our fresh start. Be kind to yourself and be good to your heart. Leave the past in the past, or even better: reimagine it as wisdom earned. Most of all, have fun!

Late night into Sunday morning, the Moon moves to cardinal, Venus-ruled Libra to form a grand trine/kite with trines to retro Pluto and Uranus, and an opposition it Aries Neptune. The Moon also sextiles Jupiter in Leo. All these aspects are tight, all within the fourth degree of their sign. Lots of air, lots of fire. Jupiter trines Neptune. Jupiter ratchet up the intensity on our pursuit of balance in accessing and implementing power to spark a revolution. Ultimately we set off an unbeatable chain reaction when we stand together — it’s just that standing together is not always literally together. It’s about the revolutionary act of seeing the divine in the other, swapping ends so fast it makes your head spin — to embrace that communal divinity in yourself.

Believe in catching some wisdom this weekend. Instead of focusing on who’s “dumb”, lean just as hard the other way to see where we’ve (they’ve, you’ve) caught the corner of some timeless truths. That will add balance. It starts with you, and no one is alone.

Sunday morning, glows with this powerful mood, a force for good. As the Libra Moon moves on, it heads into opposition with Aries Saturn by nighttime. The feeling of gravity comes from the outside, and it’s primal. Saturn is blockage and lack, but it’s also slowing down for safety and the weight of reputation and parental action. The Libra mood is pleasing and lightens things up. It can when there’s ballast to weight us and secure our place. Gravity sometimes creates our fall. Sometimes it’s what keeps us from falling.
