According to a source close to the actor, that is not the type of press he wants, given its personal nature.

Affleck is reportedly furious that Paltrow seemingly revealed details of their intimate acts in a new tell-all book, “Gwyneth: The Biography,” by Amy Odell.
In the book, Odell wrote that Paltrow narrated “how much she enjoyed their sex life,” as she previously told makeup artist Kevyn Aucoin in a London hotel room that she loved when Affleck performed a certain sexual act on her.
The book also recalled how the “Seven” actress told Harper’s Bazaar in 2001 that she’s “a very sexual person,” before noting in a 2024 appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that Affleck was a “technically excellent” lover.
However, the “Air” star doesn’t think this is something to joke about and is said to be “livid” about the situation, per Radar Online.

“Ben has zero sense of humor about this. This is not the kind of publicity he wants. He wants to be taken seriously – and this isn’t helping,” a source told the news outlet.

Shortly after the biography went live, a source said that the “Accountant 2” actor doesn’t like that his private life was laid bare for the public to peek at, and that he “feels completely exposed.”
“This isn’t just tabloid gossip, it’s humiliating,” a source told Hollywood insider Rob Shuter for his “Naughty But Nice With Rob Shuter” podcast back in July. “He feels completely exposed.”
Shuter noted that Affleck’s legal team sent letters to the book publisher, but things could be complicated as Aucoin died in 2002.
“This isn’t going away quietly. Ben is livid, and he’s ready to fight back,” the insider warned.

The author of the biography, Odell, noted in the book how Paltrow was impressed with Affleck’s “intellect” and seemingly decided to stick with him, even though her friends thought otherwise.
“Her friends had reservations about him, because he didn’t always reciprocate her affection,” she wrote.
“He at times seemed more interested in playing video games with the guys at his house than being with Gwyneth,” Odell added.

Things were so hot between Affleck and Paltrow that they could hardly keep their hands off each other, even in public.
In the book, Odell wrote that the pair “were openly affectionate and occasionally indiscreet” on the set of “Shakespeare In Love,” and got caught in the process.
“One day, a crew member went to fetch Gwyneth from her dressing room. The door was ajar, and the runner knocked and entered without waiting for a response, at which point he glimpsed Gwyneth in an intimate moment with Ben, who heard the runner and said, ‘Not now,'” she revealed, per InStyle.
The book also claims that Affleck may have cheated on her, but the “Great Expectations” actress decided to stay faithful to him.
“Ben was not a good guy,” a source told the author, adding that, though Affleck wasn’t a great partner, Paltrow “was always a good girlfriend to her boyfriends.”

Besides Paltrow, Affleck has been linked with a slew of other Hollywood stars, including ex-wife Jennifer Garner, Jennifer Lopez, Ana De Armas, and a host of others.
According to People Magazine, he began dating the “Iron Man” actress after they met at a party hosted by the now-disgraced studio mogul Harvey Weinstein in the late ’90s.
The pair dated on and off from 1997 to 2000, with the actress later revealing in a previous interview with Howard Stern that they were cool, but her parents didn’t approve.
She added, “I think [my parents] appreciated how he’s super intelligent and he’s really, really talented and so funny, but he was not in a good place in his life to have a girlfriend. I think they were okay with the two of us not being together.”
They’ve seemingly remained friends since then, as she noted at the time that she “likes him” and is “still friends with him.”
