Nope, the upcoming week in Days of Our Lives promises a whirlwind of legal mayhem that’s sure to leave us questioning both our sanity and the judicial system itself! With two court cases leading us straight into the chaotic heart of Salem, we can expect antics that are downright ridiculous. Spoilers for the week of 3-23-26 hint at consequences that could shake the very foundation of our beloved characters’ lives. There’s plenty of courtroom nonsense coming to Salem.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-23-26 promise two court cases full of things that should never happen, and one of them will have serious consequences.
If courtroom drama isn’t your thing, don’t worry — there’s also a major revelation coming in one story, although it’s likely further from over than it seems.
Theoretically, Rachel’s hearing should be a cut-and-dry affair.
EJ doesn’t want to press charges. Rachel already spent months in Bayview. The district attorney herself is vouching for her.
So the judge should decide on a fair sentence that involves continuing therapy, the parents keeping guns out of Rachel’s reach, and a real chance at rehabilitation — but what fun would that be?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-23-26 say that Rachel will be devastated by the hearing’s outcome, so obviously, things won’t go as planned.
Days of Our Lives just introduced a new actress to play the troubled pre-teen, so it wouldn’t make much sense to ship Rachel off to juvie off-screen.
However, if Days of Our Lives plans to age her soon, that makes perfect sense.

A new Thomas is due back in Salem in about a month, and it’s likely that the boy will be aged into a teenager when he returns, so it’s logical to assume Rachel will be SORASed, too.
Still, sending her to juvie when she has all this support doesn’t really fit the story, so Days of Our Lives could have something else in mind… like shipping her back to Bayview so Sophia can mess with her some more.
Whatever happens is likely at least partially Kristen’s fault.
Kristen is impulsive, violent, and egotistical, except when it comes to Rachel — and even then, she has the world’s worst judgment.
Her idea of protecting her daughter is to keep the charade going that Kristen is the one who shot EJ.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-23-26 say that Kristen will be defiant at the hearing, while Belle will fight hard to keep Rachel out of trouble.
Could Kristen try to stick to her false story when Rachel wants to tell the truth? That would be the kind of idiotic move Kristen might make to protect Rachel, leading to chaos.
And if that happens, Rachel’s devastating news could be that Kristen is being sent back to prison, which will turn Rachel’s life upside down yet again.
I have a love/hate relationship with Days of Our Lives’ courtroom scenes.

I love a good courtroom drama, and I’m especially interested in stories that show how the legal system can cause long-term damage to people’s lives, but Days of Our Lives often aggravates me because the stories are so far removed from reality.
The drama can be delicious, though, which keeps me coming back despite the nonsense.

A scene in the spoiler video has Melinda interrupting with the adoption hearing to insist that the court hear from Sophia first.
Sophia isn’t supposed to be able to talk, so this makes no sense in terms of her evil plans, as well as legally.
She also gave up her parental rights months ago, and she’s supposed to be institutionalized — plus Melinda told her all this and said she wasn’t going to help.
Bottom line: Melinda shouldn’t give in to ridiculous blackmail, Sophia shouldn’t be involved, and if she is, the court should give exactly zero weight to her opinion — but this is Salem, so logic will not win the day.
Sophia’s plan to ruin Holly’s life took a dangerous turn when Tate asked to try Holly’s skincare supplements.
I suspect that Tate knew something was fishy about this.
Days of our Lives spoilers for the week of 3-23-26 say that Tate and Holly will find out that Holly has antipsychotics in her system and think they know who is behind this.
They’d better realize that comes from Sophia, not Rachel! Yes, this is Rachel’s MO, but this time she was being manipulated, and Sophia needs to go down for once and all.
Of course, if Sophia gets caught, her entire plan goes down in flames, and so does her idea about interfering with the adoption.
So it’s probably far too soon to expect any kind of real resolution, but I can still dream of one.
I’m aggravated that EJ will blackmail Paulina into doing his bidding — I’m tired of strong women who should be able to hold their own against the likes of EJ giving in easily.
JJ will also confide in Theo about the shooting, which is the worst thing he can possibly do, considering Theo’s feelings about JJ as a cop.
Finally, Jeremy has news for Julie, while Ari gives Liam good news without realizing he just lied to her.
These scenes will be Marissa Reyes’ last performances as Ari before a new actress takes over, so hopefully they will be worth it.
