I woke up this morning, struck by how helpful astrology has been over the course of my lifetime. No matter what happens and no matter who I meet, I always have insight, from a variety of angles. It’s impossible to calculate the level of benefit when you can see the what and the why of a situation, as well as discern ways to limit the pain and increase the “profit”.

Having grown up playing cards; astrology helps me see “when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em”.  I have avoided countless messes if not straight up sinkholes, thanks to my ability to read a chart. It helps me plan and move through life with far less impediment.

It’s also helped me to accept certain things, about life and myself and others. This spares me becoming a “hungry ghost”,  wandering through life, defined by my unfulfilled needs.

It allows me to see around corners and help others to navigate difficult period or situations with grace. I’m never bored. There’s always more to see and more to understand.

I know the downside of astrology is vast. I see people use it to disable themselves on a daily basis. I see people use it to degrade themselves or others and various other things of that nature.  But if you can avoid these pitfalls, the gains are out of this world.
