The upcoming Saturn-Pluto square on June 23, 2028, has got me pondering—what cosmic cocktail are we stirring up this time? Just when we thought we’d settled into some kind of post-pandemic stability, the universe serves a reminder of the immense power and potential chaos in the Saturn-Pluto combo. Did you feel that wave of generational trauma lingering in the air? Yeah, that’s the mark of these two heavyweights. Saturn square Pluto

The pandemic provided a terrific example of the incredible power of Saturn and Pluto in combination. Years later, the collective has not even remotely recovered. The trauma is generational.

When I decided to the look at the June 23, 2028 Saturn Pluto square, I was not expecting to see this: Chart of Saturn Pluto square with striking stellium in Gemini. There are a number things to note here.

First, the 11 degree Mercury/Mars/Uranus in Gemini, just 8 minutes apart, stuns.  It look like a trigger for sure. But the chart, outside the Saturn (and Chiron) Pluto square looks extremely harmonious.

I figure some will look at this and dream up a marvelous reset.  Before you do that, check this history:

1921–23: Libra–Cancer: Rise of authoritarian and revolutionary leadership: Mussolini became Italy’s prime minister, Stalin consolidated power in the Soviet Communist Party, and Hitler became leader of the Nazis; postwar recession also affected several economies.
1939–40: Aries–Cancer: Outbreak of World War II: This square triggered intense national defense and massive global power restructuring as the conflict fully ignited.
1955–56: Scorpio–Leo: Cold War Deepening: Coincided with the formal creation of the Warsaw Pact, the Hungarian Uprising, and the geopolitically fracturing Suez Crisis.
1993–94: Aquarius–Scorpio: Coincided with the 1993 World Trade Center bombing in New York City on February 26, 1993, which marked an early escalation of modern militant extremism and security policy shifts. Bosnian War and ethnic cleansing, the Rwandan genocide, the first World Trade Center bombing, and the Taliban’s rise in Afghanistan.
2009–10: Libra–Capricorn: The Great Recession Aftermath: Occurred during the grueling consolidation of power and global economic restructuring following the 2008 financial collapse. Debt crises, austerity politics, and pressure on established economic and political institutions.

What I see in this chart is a split.  Some have the light, supported experience.  Others are harshly and painfully rejected.
