Blur’s Alex James has announced that he’s taking Britpop Classical on the road next year and tickets go on sale this week.

As fans will know, the concert is a celebration of the 90s, with a reimagination of smash hits from the likes of Oasis, Pulp, Supergrass, and Blur.

Sure to be a night to remember, the Parklife hitmaker has teamed up with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra and vocalists from the London Concert Orchestra for the event.

That’s not to mention the special guests, too. Much to the delight of fans, Phil Daniels, Republica’s Saffron Sprackling, and Reef’s Gary Stringer will also take to the stage.

James debuted Britpop Classical in summer 2025 at his Big Feastival event in Oxfordshire and it proved a huge hit with the crowd.

“Somehow all of these songs mean more to people now than they did when they were first released,” the singer said on the upcoming tour. “They really resonate with my kids’ generation too.”

“Bringing them back to life with a symphony orchestra, a kick a** band, some old friends and very special guests totally blew the roof off at Feastival, and I absolutely cannot wait to get this show on the road.”
