Jelly Roll has hit back at claims that weight-loss drug Ozempic is behind his incredible 20 stone (275 pounds) transformation.
Jelly Roll (real name Jason DeFord) lost almost half his bodyweight over the last three years and looks like a completely different person.
DeFord has spoken out about his weight-loss journey along the way, and even made it onto the cover of Men’s Health.
This week, the recently divorced singer took aim at President Donald Trump over his weight, while making a NSFW admission about one of the unexpected benefits of his weight loss.
While filling in for Jimmy Kimmel on his nightly TV show this week, DeFord suggested that if the POTUS shed some pounds he might be able to ‘see [his] penis again’.

A couple of nights after the episode aired, DeFord said on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that his jokes about Trump had come to the attention of ‘the gang over at Fox News’.
He then played a clip in which Fox News host Jesse Watters was giving his ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome Tuesday’ report.
“Next up to bat, Jelly Roll,” Watters said.
“They should put a warning label on Ozempic. Side effects can include increased risk of TDS. If you notice signs like irritability, depression, and trouble sleeping, please see a doctor.”
However, DeFord was quick to hit back at the claims he’d used Ozempic to trim down and said he lost weight before the ‘GLP-1 craze started’.
“Okay, first of all Jesse, I’ll have you know Ozempic is the only drug I haven’t tried. I know it sounds unbelievable, but I lost weight the old-fashioned way: cocaine,” he joked.
But he then continued: “No seriously, I got in shape before the GLP-1 craze started. And I’m kind of proud of the fact that I did it through diet and exercise.”
Although pleased with his weight-loss, DeFord joked: “But I also kinda feel like a dude who bought the last horse and buggy the day before they started selling cars.”

In an interview with Men’s Health earlier this year, DeFord spoke frankly about how his weight had impacted his life.
“It was never-ending sadness,” he said.
“And anger. I was a prisoner to my own body. Dude, wiping my ass was a problem. Washing myself properly was a problem. Getting in cars.
“Every decision I made in life had to be based on my weight.”
He went on to say that he was ‘literally’ killing himself and was ‘ashamed of it’.
DeFord said he had tried by himself unsuccessfully before enlisting in a program that helped him shift the pounds and keep them off.
He told the outlet that when it came to losing weight what he ate was the most important factor.
Just commit yourself to ‘I’m gonna count every calorie and macro that goes in my mouth’, ” he told Men’s Health.
And he’s absolutely delighted with the transformation.
He raved: “I’m loving my body. This is a whole new thing for me, y’all. I’ve been imprisoned to a fat suit for 30-something years.”
