Sam Fender has announced he will embark on a 2027 Proper Massive Tour across the UK.
Following a year-long hiatus in 2026 to prioritise his health, the British singer-songwriter will kick off his tour in Newcastle in June 2027, with the final show to take place in Manchester come July.
The highly anticipated tour will see Fender take to arenas across the country, including London’s Wembley Stadium.
Fender’s fourth studio album, ‘SF4’, is scheduled for release in mid-2027.
Although an exact release date is set to be announced, the new album will likely coincide with the ‘Proper Massive’ tour.
The acclaimed artist enjoyed a hugely successful 2025, winning the Mercury Prize for his third studio album, ‘People Watching’, before taking home the BRIT Award for British Rock/Alternative Act.
This year, Fender won the same BRIT Award once again, becoming the most-awarded artist in the category’s history.
Fender and Olivia Dean also won Song of the Year for ‘Rein Me In’, their collaborative single.

Following backlash over ticket prices and a response from Sam Fender himself, prices for his upcoming tour have now been updated.
General sale tickets were initially listed at up to £130.75 at selected venues, but following disappointment from fans and the artist himself, the prices have now been updated.
In an Instagram comment, Fender assured fans that the prices would be ‘getting changed’, and later took to his Instagram stories to post.
He said: “No more 120 quid standing tickets either. Costs are astronomical compared to two years ago, I can’t control the venue and ticketing fees, that’s a sad reality of today’s industry.”
The updated ticket prices exclude venue and ticket company fees and a £1 ticket contribution to Live Trust.

Gavin Davis regularly posts rumoured concerts and prices on Instagram, which often turn out to be true.
When he shared the breakdown of ticket prices for Fender’s tour, the artist himself commented in response.
Racking up thousands of likes on Instagram, Sam Fender’s official account wrote: “I’m not happy with these prices, they’re getting changed. I have no idea how this was normalised in gigs. It’s bollocks and It won’t be happening on this tour.”
“It got inflated well more than I’d had in mind, it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on. The standing will not be split as well, I had no idea about it.”
Sharing a similar attitude to Fender, fans took to reply to the comment within the thread on Instagram.
One fan commented, “I really hope you can reduce it, those prices are crackers man!”
While another agreed, saying, “Respect to Sam for trying to change this. More artists should be doing it.”
Additionally, Fender took to Instagram today (28 October), posting on his Instagram stories in response to fans not being able to secure presale tickets due to AI bots.
Bots are used by ticket touts to flood concert ticket sales, bypass queues, and drive up resale prices.
Fender posted: “Being told by the promoters that there’s been a sophisticated bot attack to the gigantic ticket site which is impacting the St James’ Park pre-sale.”

Sam Fender’s Instagram story posted on 28 October, 2026 in response to AI bots (@sam_fender)
“We’re going to have to move the Newcastle pre-sale to 9:30am tomorrow to ensure real fans get the tickets.”
Resale platforms give fans a second chance to browse fan resale listings, even when tickets have sold out.
Some Sam Fender resale tickets reportedly appeared for over £1,200 just minutes after presale went live. As a result, Viagogo has deactivated all listings for the St James’ Park dates due to ticket pricing disputes.
Ticket prices vary depending on demand, seat location, date, venue and the website you buy them from.
To avoid ticket scams and ensure a money-back guarantee, always purchase resale tickets through verified sites
