Selena and Janice recently talked about what happens in Season 2 for Disney Channel’s YouTube, including the shocking discovery fans will uncover.
“It’s actually really fun for me to come back and hang out with all of you guys,” said Gomez. “It’s honestly been nostalgic for me.”
She then reveals Alex is (surprise!) Billie’s mom, which is uncovered in the two-part finale. “Obviously, she had to make a hard choice as a mom to protect her child,” Selena shared.

“It was very emotional, especially for me and her after the table read,” Janice said.
“We were just puddles,” Selena admits, just like me after watching. “It’s honestly been a wonderful experience. It’s so fun to see us pass the baton to a new generation.”
