booksMonday morning, Mercury finishes its tour of polite Libra and dives into deep waters in Scorpio. The Aries Moon spends the day heading into a nighttime opposition with the Libra Sun for an active and fiery full moon in the mid degrees. Monday’s mood takes its cues from Mars in Scorpio, hanging out all spooky-like and cool-kid intense. Deeply attractive.

Scorpio Mercury spends Monday perfecting a square to sign-ruler Pluto retrograde in Aquarius. That square intensifies as Mercury receives yod energy from retro Uranus in Gemini and retro Neptune in Aries. Intense news is brewing to pop, but it has a deep root in the past. This may seem like it comes out of nowhere, but it’s been lurking, fermenting. When the full moon coalesces by night, provoking news, thoughts, and sensations, intuitions are cresting as well.

Let them come. Soak them up. Can you be disquieted and not lose your shit? Let it roll over you. Take it in and transform it to its pure form: information. All info is good info. With the full moon, we’re done somewhere — done in order to begin again simply. The infinite loop.

The full moon in Aries is simple and dramatic… and deeply intense for its deep roots. The Libra Sun, however, reflects another light through its ties to Virgo Venus. Venus sextiles Cancer Jupiter through Wednesday morning, and quincunxes retro Chiron in Aries through Thursday night. We want more, need more, and will find a way to tune up our game to get it. Not only that, but there’s a right time, right place kind of thing going on where the path to the prize is elevated and accessible.

Toward the end of the week, Venus begins an opposition to retro Saturn in Pisces. If you want to keep the Venus-Jupiter party going a bit longer, you’ve got to prime the pump with hard work and Dudley Do-Right values. Venus to Jupiter-Chiron-Saturn starts along with the full moon and Mercury-Pluto. Whatever sack of shit you sniff out, get handed, or step in, metaphorically speaking of course, you’re best off to dig down deep for control and find a way to grow through it, learn from it, and do the right thing in the end.

Venus in Virgo is picky. Venus in Virgo at its best knows value, knows the shortest distance between two points: it’s practical, and healthy. The other side to this week’s Venus venture is getting blocked out from the goodies. But that doesn’t have to happen if you’re willing to be cool and adjust your expectations. That might mean your payoff takes some time. Better later than never.

Tuesday’s Aries Moon squares Jupiter and conjoins retro Chiron, highlighting the ongoing Jupiter-Chiron square. The mood is a lot. What are you going to do about it? You can plug in and charge, or you can collapse. I never liked the saying “no pain, no gain”, but the way to deal with an overabundance of energy is to expend it. Overnight, the Moon moves to Venus-ruled Taurus and a t-square with retro Pluto and Mercury, intense communications and thoughts. This coincides with Venus perfecting its sextile to Jupiter, so dream big.

On Wednesday, the Taurus Moon opposes Scorpio Mars. Having action imposed on you from the outside when you’d rather curl up with a box of bonbons is a literal mood here, but it also shows up with “you’ve got things to do and you’re able to grind away to get things done first”. Or perhaps you’ve got someone who’d love nothing more than to bring you some brandy to go with your bonbons. In any case, something outside ourselves is entering the chat and it’s possible to find a bit of pleasure in the action… but action’s intruding somewhere.

Thursday’s Taurus Moon is the gem of the week. It trines Venus, then moves through the midpoint of the Jupiter-Saturn trine – sextiling each. Plan something purposeful for Thursday as the mood finds stasis: not to much, not too little… a pleasant balance of push-pull and an earthy ease in tactile delights. When the Moon moves to Gemini in the night, it sextiles retro Neptune, conjoins retro Uranus, and trines retro Pluto. Let go. Hanging on will only get in your way. Float and glide. Embrace novelty and change, and go with the breezy flow. Let your hair down; the mood tickles deeply.

On Friday, the Gemini Moon quincunxes Gemini ruler Mercury. It’s more go with the flow business, but this time it’s a mental affair. We don’t let things go so much as we move past them in focus. It’s possible to hold two disparate issues in mind and meld them to suit our practical purposes. It’s a no-boredom sort of day, and it blends well with the budding Venus-Saturn opposition.

The mood collects myriad angles on everything and heightens the impulse to share and trade tactical tidbits. Venus is earthy but also needs info in order to make a dream come true in time. Reach out and test how the info trading floor is operating. It’s a give two, get one or a get two, give one sort of system. Which side you’re on depends a lot on you. Trade with integrity either way.

Monday’s full moon takes place at 14 degrees of Aries, in the night. Where does that hit your chart?
