You know what they say—sometimes the stars align, and other times, they just clash! On a day when the cosmos seems to be stirring the pot, we can’t help but wonder: is the universe smiling on Kylie or are the cosmic forces all about some model-on-model tension? In a world where the sparkle of stardom can overshadow years of runway experience, it’s no surprise that family dynamics and power moves came into play, especially with Kris Jenner at the helm orchestrating a “princess moment” for her beloved daughter! As this story unfolds, one thing’s for sure—drama makes for great entertainment!
Kylie Jenner’s $50 million Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra debut reportedly came with backstage tension, family maneuvering and a carefully arranged opportunity.
While the reality star stepped into the runway spotlight, insiders claimed some veteran models were unhappy that she had been chosen for the coveted look.
The reports also revealed how Kendall Jenner, Kris Jenner and Kylie’s celebrity connections factored into the casting and why the brand saw her as a headline-making choice.
According to the DailyMail, the decision to put Kylie Jenner in the Fantasy Bra was kept secret, leaving some experienced runway models reportedly stunned when she emerged.
One insider told the outlet, “Some of the old-school models were not thrilled that Kylie was the center of attention.”
The source suggested that some established models resented younger stars receiving the spotlight, adding, “I am sure those old timers were like, ‘Stay in your lane, babe!’”
According to them, Candice Swanepoel and Elsa Hosk did not look pleased on the runway. Both had previously worn Fantasy Bras, Swanepoel in 2013 and Hosk in 2018, but neither was quoted criticizing Kylie.
The source also revealed that models were unlikely to publicly challenge the casting, because they understood the attention Kylie could generate for the brand.
Another insider described the model as confident and unfazed by critics, saying she “never backs down from anything” and “does her thing.”

The choice to go with Kylie Jenner reportedly came together after Kendall was unavailable. The insider said Kendall hadn’t worked with Victoria’s Secret since 2018 and was tied to rival lingerie brand Intimissimi. Kris then stepped in, telling the brand Kylie was available.
The 29-year-old reportedly accepted the invitation months before the show, feeling “flattered.” Kris reportedly wanted the appearance to be a “princess moment,” telling the brand, “If Kylie is going to be at the show, it is going to be a princess moment for her.”
Kendall was also portrayed as supportive. According to one source, Kylie took the opportunity because her sister told her, “Do it.”
Kendall later praised her on Instagram, writing, “A gorgeous woman!!!” while Kris called Kylie “my angel girl!!!” and Kim Kardashian added, “Just perfect.”

Kylie’s support reportedly extended beyond her family. The insider named some of the biggest names in the modeling world who performed at the show as allies.
“She had friends on stage like Gigi and Bella Hadid, who love her, also Amelia [Hamlin Gray] and she knows Tate McRae (the pop star sang during the show). There were plenty of girls there who are her longtime allies,” the source revealed.
The runway appearance also gave Kylie a chance to promote Kylie Cosmetics.
According to an insider, she wore her own products onstage and highlighted the brand’s Winter Kissed collection.

Kendall may have missed her younger sister Kylie Jenner’s Victoria’s Secret runway debut, but sources say she was rooting for her from the sidelines.
As The Blast reported, an insider revealed that Kendall “thought Kylie absolutely killed it.”
According to the source, Kylie had sought advice from her older sister, who reportedly offered “some pointers” before the show.
Kendall, however, allegedly felt Kylie was “already a natural” and ready for the runway. Another source described Kendall as “supportive of Kylie doing the show,” adding that the sisters were not competing with one another.

Kylie also had enthusiastic support in the audience. Her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, attended the show with Kris and Corey Gamble, and footage captured him in high spirits.
Online video showed the actor smiling, cheering, and applauding while Kris recorded her daughter on her phone.
As The Blast reported, fans quickly praised his visible support. One called it “Supportive bf energy,” while another wrote, “He watched the whole thing like a proud boyfriend, and honestly that’s the cutest part of the whole show.”
A third fan said Chalamet looked “genuinely hyped” for Jenner. His enthusiastic response also prompted renewed speculation about the couple’s future.
One fan commented, “Wow, Kylie and Timothee really gonna get married.”
