When My Chemical Romance initially announced their UK tour as just two Wembley dates, some fans likened the ticket sales to The Hunger Games, such was the competition.
As fans will know, the band are bringing their Long Live The Black Parade Tour to our shores. Weeks after selling out Wembley, twice, they announced some extra dates (buy tickets on Seat Unique, Stubhub, and Viagogo).
With the addition of Liverpool and Glasgow dates, many northern and Scottish fans decided to buy closer to home and sell the Wembley ones they’d originally secured.
Following confirmation of extra tour dates, one fan wrote: “Ahh! I got Wembley tickets but I’m in Manchester so this would be so much better, think I’ll have to try for Anfield and sell Wembley if I get them.”
Another added: “It seems ridiculous to spend all that money on travel and hotels when I live on the edge of Everton, would it be wrong to buy these and sell up? Surely someone would buy them”
A third agreed, “I have London tickets and am most likely going to sell if I can get tickets for Anfield, so many people missed out on London and I’ll be selling them at face value so I don’t think it’s wrong: I think someone will be really happy to get them!”
