Rosé is joining the 2025 Global Citizen Festival lineup.

The 28-year-old global star, a member of K-pop supergroup Blackpink, is set to make a special appearance at the festival, it was announced Wednesday. She joins the lineup of Shakira, Cardi B, Tyla, Ayra Starr, Mariah the Scientist, Camilo and Elyanna. The festival will take place in New York on Saturday and stream worldwide.

“Rosé is one of the most influential artists of this generation, bridging languages and cultures through the universal power of music. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the Global Citizen stage for her first-ever solo festival performance,” Global Citizen’s chief music and entertainment officer Katie Hill said in a statement. “We can’t wait to see Number Ones and Blinks [Rosé’s official fandom name and Blackpink’s official fandom name] on the Great Lawn this Saturday.”

Earlier this week, it was announced that Cardi B would be joining as a headliner of the festival after The Weeknd had to drop out for “personal reasons.”

Global Citizen is the world’s largest movement to end extreme poverty, with everyday advocates and leaders in entertainment, public policy, philanthropy and the corporate sector raising awareness and taking action.

The 2025 Global Citizen Festival will be hosted by Hugh Jackman, with Shakira headlining the event and Tyla, Ayra Starr and Mariah the Scientist also set to perform. Co-hosts of the festival include Bill Nye, Adam Lambert, Danai Gurira and Liza Koshy. Additionally, Kristen Bell, Tony Goldwyn, Laurie Hernandez, Nate Burleson and Vladimir Duthiers will also participate as speakers.

The event is set to stream live worldwide from the Great Lawn at New York’s Central Park on Saturday, Sept. 27. Tickets can be purchased or earned by taking action to end extreme poverty on the Global Citizen app and website.
