Going down memory lane, the reality TV star recalls and reveals why she went the extra mile to get her vaginal rejuvenation surgery. She previously opened up about getting the procedure, which cost thousands of dollars.
Brandi Glanville suffered a painful split from Eddie Cibrian in 2009 after nearly a decade of marriage, two sons, and an infidelity scandal. Their breakup was followed by a lengthy in and out of court battle.
Glanville recalled going under for the vaginal rejuvenation surgery she had after she had her two sons with ex-husband Cibrian. She shared that while there are non-surgical options for women today, she had “the actual surgery” in 2009 with Dr. David Matlock.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, vaginal rejuvenation is a broad term for surgical or non-surgical cosmetic procedures that address the look or feel of the vulva or vagina.
“I was with Dr, Matlock. He was the pioneer for the surgery. He was the original doctor to do it,” she said while chatting with her “Unfiltered” podcast cohost, James Maas.
She told Maas that going the surgical route was the only way to rid her ex’s physical intimate touch of her. “That was the only way I could stop fu-king my ex-husband was to be a virgin again,” she explained before revealing her ex’s comment on her body after having their sons.
“You know, I spit out two kids and [Cibrian] made a comment like, ‘It’s not what it used to be,’” she shared on the podcast.
Glanville previously detailed her “pretty intense surgery” in her 2013 memoir “Drinking and Tweeting.” She shared that the procedure cost nearly $12,000 but was worth every cent to her.
“A brand new vagina would be an Eddie-free vagina. I understand that, to many of you, this may seem like an extreme measure to cut someone out of your life. But I’ve always been an extreme kind of girl, with extreme emotions,” The Bravo star wrote.
The mom of two further revealed that she made Cibrian pay for the surgery since he had “ruined [her] vagina.” When he saw the bill, his emotions were reportedly through the roof, and he allegedly called Glanville screaming, according to US Weekly.
“What the fu-k cost you $12,000?” he asked, “Did you get a nose job?” to which she simply responded, “Yes. A nose job,” and hung up the call.
The TV personality opened up about her painful split from her ex-husband after it was revealed he was having an affair with his now wife, LeAnn Rimes, whom he wed in 2011. She said that “there had been warning signs” that Cibrian had stepped out of their matrimonial home.
Whenever she brought it up, he would sweep her doubts under the carpet, saying she “was jealous” while reassuring her of his love for her. By the time the scales fell from her eyes, Glanville was heartbroken and recalls going “crazy” when the truth finally came to light.

She noted that she confronted Cibrian, who still tried to convince her the footage of him and Rimes kissing and sucking on each other’s fingers was not real. He vehemently denied, assured the reality TV star that he did not love Rimes, and even suggested they went to counseling but kept seeing Rimes while at it.
Glanville shared that she spent over $10,000 in legal fees in order to get her share of the retirement money from her divorce. She claimed the process stretched out for almost a year as her actor ex-husband did not want to budge.
When she tried to get her 401K from Cibrian, he told her to get a lawyer, which she did, but it was a decision that did not come cheap. The mom of two alleged that her ex “was trying to keep” the full funds; as such, he deliberately made the process more difficult than expected.
As shared by The Blast, Glanville had to eventually obtain a qualified domestic relations order (QDRO), a legal process used to determine how retirement accounts, pensions, and 401Ks are divided during a divorce. Fans have noticed changes in her face, which she revealed to be due to a benign tumor. “I have a benign tumor in one of my lymph nodes in my face.
