Robert Pattinson skipped the most highly anticipated wedding of the year and missed out on more than just a lavish ceremony.
The sensational actor couldn’t attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s big day, and was surprised to learn there were luxury goods at stake.
His hilarious reaction to the prizes given at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s union had fans poking fun at his DC character. Although Robert Pattinson wasn’t there for the wedding, his fiancée Suki Waterhouse attended the event.

Pattinson attended the Monday, July 6 premiere of his new movie “The Odyssey” in London, where he was asked about his absence from Swift and Kelce’s wedding. The couple tied the knot at Madison Square Garden in New York on Friday, July 3.
The actor explained that he couldn’t make it to the event due to work obligations, revealing he had shot scenes for “The Batman: Part II” before attending the movie premiere. Although he didn’t seem fazed about missing the wedding, his attitude changed when he learned about the luxury gifts.
“They were giving away cars and watches at the wedding…They were giving away lots of stuff,” Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier told Pattinson in a video shared on X. “They were giving away lots of stuff?” the stunned actor replied, before comically adding, “What did I get?” in a playful tone.

Pattinson wasn’t the only one laughing about failing to score any prizes at Swift and Kelce’s wedding, with fans hopping on the fun. Many referenced his DC character Bruce Wayne/Batman, with someone sharing a GIF of the cartoon character alongside the words, “The Batman doesn’t take a night off.”
Another echoed similar sentiments, claiming “the grind for Batman is real!” and hoped Swift and Kelce would compensate Pattinson in some way. Others shared Batman memes, while some fans couldn’t help but love the actor’s playful reaction to the luxury wedding gifts.
“He’s always joking, I like him,” a fan declared, with a fellow supporter noting they “love whatever is wrong with him.” An X user believed Pattinson should star “in more comedies,” while someone else argued that he probably wouldn’t have enjoyed attending Swift and Kelce’s wedding.

Pattinson might want to ask his fiancée, Waterhouse, about the gifts she brought home from the wedding. USA Today claimed guests were treated to luxury prizes at Swift and Kelce’s extravagant ceremony on July 3, with brand bags like Dior and Chanel up for grabs.
Female attendees were given the opportunity to play games to enter a raffle, which made them eligible for the luxury bags. As for male guests, their gifts included a golf bag, which could be won by playing games such as miniature golf, skee-ball, and a football ring toss.
Country singer Maren Morris revealed on social media that attendees were given custom handkerchiefs embroidered with the “T&T” crest, the date and location of the wedding, alongside the lyrics of Swift’s hit “Blank Space” song. The words read, “So it’s gonna be forever…”

Besides the luxury raffle prizes, Page Six reported that guests at Swift and Kelce’s rehearsal dinner on July 2 went home with gifts. Those in attendance, including Charissa Thompson and Steven Cundari, were photographed leaving the venue with black velvet boxes inscribed with the couple’s initials.
A source told the outlet those boxes held one large champagne flute adorned with diamonds. As for fans who queued outside Madison Square Garden from July 3 to the early hours of July 4, their love and support were rewarded with desserts.
TMZ shared that a van from the New Jersey bakery, Délices & Co., had gifted fans a box of uneaten pastries that were presumably from the wedding. While these fans were excited to score desserts from the ceremony, some weren’t pleased with the wedding raffle.
The Blast covered the story, reporting that Jackie Tranquill, the wife of Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Drue Tranquill, went home with a luxury bag from Chanel. After Jackie flaunted her victory, one critic slammed the raffle game as a “tacky” setup for a wedding.

Pattinson’s decision to focus on filming the second installment of “The Batman” franchise instead of attending the wedding isn’t surprising. The actor has been vocal about his love for the upcoming movie, telling Deadline he couldn’t wait to start filming.
He praised the script for the second movie as “extraordinary,” declaring that he believed the production would create “a really, really, really special movie.” The TV personality noted that the new installment was “very, very different” to the last one.
“I was reading it going like, ‘Oh wow! Okay!’ It’s going to be interesting seeing it come out. It’s taking some big swings,” Pattinson gushed. The second installment will launch five-and-a-half years after the first part in October 2027, with a third installment set to follow.
